    I am disappointed in OnePlus…

They don’t seem to care about longevity (Hardware) and value for money any more like they did in the old days.
Almost everything got worse with every new product:

    – No removable battery anymore
    – No expandable storage anymore
    – Notches and Punch holes
    – Curved Screens

    – Ever larger and more expensive devices

    – No Headphone jack anymore

Every point I mentioned is valid and will be mistaken for old or unnecessary.
    I guess they finally settled…

Removable batteries are basically extinct, Expandable storage and headphone jack don’t exist nowadays either. Your rant makes absolutely no sense. The notch thing I agree and wdym by longetivity in hardware? It has SD888 which is literally the latest Android flagship processor right now.

      March 23, 2021 at 4:52 pm

Yup and it’s really hard to get their proprietary charging cable

Removable battery ? Are you living in 2010?

Why oneplus can’t make it waterproof..

    • Monco Carser

      March 23, 2021 at 4:43 pm

Or do they? They normally haven’t cared about getting the official rating, because those do cost money as well. But you can find water test videos if you bother looking.

No chinese CCP phone for me no matter how cheap/affordable/durable it can be.

    • Kavin Suresh

      March 23, 2021 at 4:37 pm

@Franz Isler bruh you gotta understand sarcasm ????????

    • Franz Isler

      March 23, 2021 at 4:47 pm

@Kavin Suresh Once upon a time, tech brands like HP, Compaq, Dell, and Motorola used to have their cell phones manufactured in the USA. All of them, except Motorola, have exited the mobile market. Motorola, once an American company, was acquired by Chinese smartphone company, Lenovo, in 2014, and so is now Chinese. But that was another lifetime. That’s sarcasm.

    • Kavin Suresh

      March 23, 2021 at 5:41 pm

@Franz Isler bruh did you even get what I was pointing out?

    • Franz Isler

      March 23, 2021 at 5:47 pm

@Kavin Suresh Yes….and roses are red, Kamala’s not black, Joe Biden’s still hidin while Hunter’s on crack.

I dont get why its not “trying to compete” with the elite when they literally asked for help from hasselblad

    • Stephen Atwood

      March 23, 2021 at 4:21 pm

There’s clearly more to smartphone cameras than the basic lens setup.

    • Casimiro Chor

      March 23, 2021 at 8:10 pm

Because it’s cheaper than the elite. It’s $70 cheaper than the base S21 and $100 cheaper than the base iPhone 12.

I have a cheep Chinese phone that can operate one week with out charging for more than a week, it has militarily grade protection and I totally love it. Only one setback is the low quality camera but its ok. I still use my old S7 phone anyway. that’s because of android 10 restrictions. One thing google should have left alone that is causing me problems. wont be buying a new phone for a decade or 2 now..

You alluded to price 500 times in this video, but did not mention an actual price range. WTF?

    • Nipsey Eternal

      March 23, 2021 at 5:13 pm

      $729 and $1069 usa prices

    • Rainy Yumkhaibam

      @Nipsey Eternal the 9 is 720$

    • niklas davind

      March 24, 2021 at 11:53 am

@Nipsey Eternal the 9 pro standard model is 969 (nice)

  9. Stephen Atwood

    March 23, 2021 at 4:20 pm

Lacking waterproof certification is a dealbreaker.

  10. nuyou21

    March 23, 2021 at 5:31 pm

The hyped Hasselblad cameras aren’t great. Plus, for some strange reason, you don’t get wireless charging on the plastic OnePlus 9 if you live in India.

  11. aesean

    March 23, 2021 at 6:44 pm

    Mention the price atleast once.

  12. keigorjai

    March 23, 2021 at 7:25 pm

If they both used the Sanpdragon 888, I think I will just get the Oneplus 9

  13. Read my ABOUT section PLEASE

    March 23, 2021 at 8:00 pm

Now I know why they call it the best or perfect. One Plus 9 is 10. Smooth.

Nah, 9R is the one to get.

    • Amiable Fella

      March 24, 2021 at 12:40 am

9R is for indians who can’t afford anything

    • Avinash Anish

      March 24, 2021 at 4:00 am

Yeah right, why is Oneplus India’s #1 Premium Smartphone brand then?

    • seif hassan

      March 24, 2021 at 11:05 am

@Amiable Fella what a horrid thing to say

  16. Mike Walters

    March 23, 2021 at 11:45 pm

Both look good but for $250 less you’ll be able to grab the next pixel 5a. OP won’t do well competing at this price level

    • Rohan Broach

      March 24, 2021 at 1:15 pm

I think Nord is the series that OP is focusing on at that price point

  17. Mutch Louis

I have a realme x2 pro the phone came with 50watt charge speeds. From 0 – full in about 30 mins. Seems like i had this future tech already

  26. Николай Иванов

It is not flagman killer anymore. It is just aome grredy brand that wants to sell phones for higher prizes and become chinese Samsung version. Sorry but your camera is still bad.

  33. Craig Kent

    March 25, 2021 at 4:51 pm

I’ve researched the heck out of this in the last few days and I’m getting the OnePlus 9. T Mobile is offering a promotion starting tomorrow for half off if you trade in a phone or add a line.
