I’d like to see more games. The current hardware is fine as is, I’d rather they focus resources on more games.

    I can’t wait for BOTW 2

Only 2 games on your switch? Zelda and one two switch? Suspect…

      July 15, 2020 at 10:40 pm

Christopher Needham I don’t think this thing is coming out any time soon. We don’t even know if it’s real

      July 15, 2020 at 11:09 pm

it won’t come out for at least 3 years

The fact the joycons in the thumbnail are swapped makes me uncomfortable

Is it worth it to buy a switch now or should I wait for the switch 2??

    • Curt Davis

      July 15, 2020 at 8:48 pm

      Buy it now

  8. Hazman

    July 15, 2020 at 8:58 pm

I want same design as current Switch but with bigger & much brighter 720p screen, 7 hours battery life playing AAA games straight, better processor for solid native 720p60fps gameplay in handheld mode…that’s all I want for Switch Advanced in 2021…but, for Switch 2 in 2023, release different SOC architecture to compete with PS5 directly

  9. Niver0

    July 15, 2020 at 9:26 pm

Yes drift, battery life, powerful hardware. But if we take just FORMs factor I want next nintedo switch – just like Lite monolite in same size, but wider screen to borders. with DOсk possibility and controllers sets: ” Home bondule for solo”, “for duo”, or “family+”

And everyone gets normal size portable device without luft and Home gaming exactly for their needs ( IF they wants)

  10. John Smith

    July 15, 2020 at 9:28 pm

Just stick with one format going forward. If you started with cartridges on the first switch, then stick with cartridges.

  11. Tristan Goddard

    July 15, 2020 at 9:38 pm

There is a lot of talk at the moment about a Switch 2, but I seriously doubt Nintendo will even announce a Switch 2 until next year. We may get a Switch XL, it seems like something Nintendo might do, but remember with great screen, come great battery drain…

I would be pleased just with half of your wishlist becoming a reality!

    July 15, 2020 at 10:11 pm

How about increasing the build it storage. 32Gb is to small. (Even though they have Micro SD expansion). I say 64 GB or 128 GB.

A Switch 2 could have a dock that was a coprocessor to give games more speed. With PCIe 4 or 5, it would not take many lanes to get the data to the coprocessor.

And Increase of Ram is always a good thing.

  14. Reese Armstrong

    July 15, 2020 at 10:12 pm

I’d really like to see video out via the USB-C port. I don’t necessarily want to use a dock somewhere besides my house, but I want to output video to a TV. maybe include a usb-c to hdmi adapter in the box?

  15. Sebastian Thompson

    July 15, 2020 at 10:15 pm

Being able to over clock it

    Smaller vents?!

  17. Sani Wada

    July 15, 2020 at 10:33 pm

The switch came out in 2017, it too early to be discussing a replacement.

  18. Brian Carter

What is going on with that hair yo

  19. Ryan Kim

More ram would probably be really useful from games

  20. Harry Teasley

    July 16, 2020 at 12:26 am

Don’t know why you wouldn’t do inverted joysticks, dished in the joycons instead of sticking out. Should be much more robust, with equal or better control.

  21. Platinum

    July 16, 2020 at 12:33 am

Hopefully the battery and the joy con is good the if the joycon drift imma just buy the ps4

  22. James L

    July 16, 2020 at 12:40 am

They need much better eshop and menues. And bluetooth headset and party chat is a must in 2020!

  23. makona saber

    July 16, 2020 at 1:05 am

I want it to be able to have more than one cartridge slot so i don’t have to keep changing games, 128gb storage at least, and better joycons. That’s enough for me.

  24. Brodie

    July 16, 2020 at 1:09 am

how long is a console life cycle? i thought we were only like halfway

  25. Brodie

    July 16, 2020 at 1:14 am

honestly not much needs to change

  26. QUINN CUTTONE

    July 16, 2020 at 4:22 am

Just saw that thumbnail and ran for my wallet. Hit the nail on the head with all that. I’d definitely upgrade for all that.

  27. C-Red

    July 16, 2020 at 4:25 am

talking about this stuff is cool and all but you guys act like this thing came came out 5yrs ago. the switch came out in 2017, its been 3yrs since its debut, I think we need to pump the brakes on a switch 2. bring this discussion back in 2022.

  28. daniel zuver

  29. The Light

    July 16, 2020 at 6:03 am

Make it 4K Nintendo go back the the regular console systems right next to ps5 and Xbox x come on man

    • n o n o n o

      July 16, 2020 at 6:16 am

they most likely won’t do that, almost all the switch owners like taking their switch anywhere. It’s what makes the switch a switch, if it was just a home console, it would lose its cool feature of being able to go anywhere with you.

    • Prakash Gurung

      July 16, 2020 at 6:54 pm

@n o n o n o 4k could be possible on Switch 2 or switch pro with dock mode being more powerful and being able to output connection to TV we might get 4k that way anyway as for handheld it’s most likely going to be 1080p!

  30. n o n o n o

    July 16, 2020 at 6:20 am

When the next switch comes out, the screen should be atleast 1080p on handheld, and then it can boost to 1440p when docked. I would like it to be as fast as a ps4 and have a glass display. Better joycons, and bigger screen. Also fix the kickstand, Bluetooth, and they should release it with a set of official Nintendo wireless headphones

  31. Jason Yong

    July 16, 2020 at 6:40 am

Better graphic power so can play more graphics intense games on the go

  32. Jesus Merced

    July 16, 2020 at 8:07 am

There is no way we’re getting another switch so fast …

  33. Alfie Hulme

    July 16, 2020 at 8:30 am

Theirs 1 thing I want, SWITCH SPORTS

  34. Naresh Sookraj

    July 16, 2020 at 10:42 am

I just want hardware powerful enough where everygame is 720p-1080p running at 50-60fps. Perfect example are games like ARK and Outer World’s that really need that extra HP everygame could use it actually

  35. Benjamin Kennedy

    July 16, 2020 at 12:51 pm

    Nah focus on the games

  36. Esports Bright Knight

    July 16, 2020 at 1:06 pm

    I want to see…

Nothing just a better screen recording option

  37. DesexedDoggo

    July 16, 2020 at 1:29 pm

I’d like a switch that’s smaller like the lite but can dock to a tv, or even better. A switch with a clamshell design like the 3ds

  38. Prakatheesh Jathugulan

    July 16, 2020 at 2:13 pm

    COLL

  39. Zatise Boyd

    July 16, 2020 at 3:46 pm

I don’t agree with you, I like the dock. It helps to make it look like a home console.

  40. Ryan 206

    July 16, 2020 at 3:57 pm

I just want it to be as powerful as the base ps4 and I’m good

  41. sonny

    July 16, 2020 at 4:24 pm

They could update the joycons even without a new switch chip chop chip nintendo!

  42. flamesword300

    July 16, 2020 at 6:04 pm

I like what you said on this video about the Switch 2.Especially Bluetooth audio and adding analog triggers. But I will add a few more thing-1.)the ability to use LTE/5G data plans . The Switch is a portable system I think having an option to use cellular data would be a great feature,2.)add a headphone jack to the pro controller and if possible the joycon holder as well, 3.)improved switch online and a party chat that you don’t need a smartphone app for!

  43. Alex Alcantar

    July 16, 2020 at 7:21 pm

    I would want:
    – Larger Screen (Maybe 7 inches)
    – Preferably 7 – 10.5 battery life
    – Maybe bigger joycons
    – Something to counter the whole joycon drift thing or at least minimize the risk of it
    – Maybe 1080p Handheld play but its fine as it is

  44. Sauce Pan

    July 16, 2020 at 7:37 pm

I really hope we don’t get another switch for at least 2 years

  45. Jay Feliciano

    July 16, 2020 at 9:24 pm

I wish they could have a removable battery so that I could continue playing for long hours.

  46. kingn8link

    July 16, 2020 at 10:50 pm

Switch 1 still has a lot more life left. They can definitely refine it, but it won’t be a Switch 2. A Switch XL, or a Switch Pro makes more sense.

    • kingn8link

      July 16, 2020 at 10:51 pm

Just read the video description. We’re on the same page lol

  47. Far zana

I still cant afford it HAHA *laughing at my self*

  48. Crypto Galaxy

    July 16, 2020 at 11:28 pm

Processor upgrade, d-pad and a camera for WhatsApp.

  49. Crypto Galaxy

    Better game library.
