2 years ago, watching Tv and Content on the internet was great, until all these companies main focus is a big money grab. So Im actually bout to go back to cable, they offering great offers and after doing the math, it’s actually cheaper now. Im actually bout to switch back. They want to be bout the money, well me too Forget DC, NBC, Disney, YouTube Tv and Sling just increase their fees, cable companies is offering better deals now for the same content in one place, forget getting 20 different streaming services. Also at first ad content was little to nothing, but now i can’t watch anything for no more than 2 mins wo seeing some type of ad, or going to the store and bying something and start getting harassed to buy the thing i just bought yesterday because the can’t help but to listen to my conversations and trying to sell me something. You young ppl can be dumb with your money and time if you want to, Im out. #DropsMic,#StepsOffSoapBox

That is the FURTHEST thing from the truth. Cable is NOT cheaper. My only guess is that you actually work for a cable company abd hope there is someone actually stupid enough to believe that bull ???? An average cable bill (TV only) to run on 3 TV”s with a DVR and some form of Wolfe home and watch outside the home capability will run you a minimum of $120 even if you choose a lower package. If all you want is on demand you can get Netflix, Hulu, Prime video, CBS all access, HBO Max Disney+ and this and still be at around $50.

Now let’s take away Netflix, Hulu and Amazon because people who have cable will have at least one of those services anyway you can still get a live TV OTT service and still come out saving anywhere from $50 to $100 over cable.

Definitely not worth the premium. At least for me. My current streaming arsenal are.

    1. Netflix
    2. Prime Video
    3. Hulu
    4. HBO Max
    5. ESPN +
    7. DAZN

With these services Peacock premium is definitely not worth the $5.00 a month imo

I couldn’t finish this. I am a fan of CNET, but this is a ridiculously self centered, egotistical review. More information, more sincerity and less egotistical expression, please.

What is the main difference between Peacock and the NBC app? Why would I pay for Peacock TV shows of I already get them for free on the NBC app?

No Multi-user Support is a big negative.

    • Greg G

      July 17, 2020 at 12:01 am

Kyle H Yeah, considering they were late to market, I do not understand why both that and 4k support was not built in right from the start. Seems strange to me.

    Will this be available worldwide???

  28. Leslie Barrueta

    July 17, 2020 at 11:42 am

I was disappointed because I thought they would have the local channels included for premium. Missing many content from their own shows but I will wait until the end of preorder date to see if I keep them or cancel.

They must be paying CNET a LOT to run daily articles and videos about their streaming service that no one else cares about. Way to sell out, CNET.

  30. Steven Mancera
