I’ve just downgraded my Mac mini, MacBook Air both from Catalina to Mojave (10.15 -> 10.14) for problems with music and tv shows. With TV you cannot go to the iTunes Store and just browse it like you could before. I can’t even check my purchases on TV?! As for music searching in a list is not possible at all. This is a big problem as I have over 12,000 songs so I hope these will be corrected. I will be checking in a Apple store and test in theirs than wasting my time doing it on my computer

All I see is Apple locking macOS down even more. (Apple users, please don’t hate on me)

I upgraded to Catalina a few weeks ago and it’s made my iMac very hot when just doing basic tasks. Is there a way to fix that?

    • Jawaads MoM

      July 11, 2020 at 10:16 pm

it did the same to my computer. you might have to wipe it clean and go back to mojave. It isn’t the best

    • KELEX

      July 12, 2020 at 12:12 am

Jawaads MoM Oh wow! That sucks. Do you think it’s just a Catalina OS issue and going forward to Big Sur would fix it? Or going back is the only way?

  13. RAJohnson713

    July 11, 2020 at 10:12 pm

    Good but fix the audio

Upgrading to Big Sur because you want new maps and a safari interface is dumb. Should just be app specific updates in that case

  18. Johnny Rodriguez

    July 11, 2020 at 11:18 pm

Awesome video update on the beta. I was actually looking for a video on this and your video popped up. Also great job for your first video! keep up the good work!

  28. J H

    July 12, 2020 at 2:15 am

If you want CNET to stand out amongst (or along side) all the youtubers with professional review videos, you need to use a better mic. You would think a big tech review brand like CNET would know that.

Also, if you’re going to discuss one of the biggest changes (widgets), why wouldn’t you show how it’s actually used or displayed instead of explaining what they are and showing their setup?

  29. Gary Nagle

    July 12, 2020 at 2:30 am

Great first vid,. You do have an a bit of an echo. Can’t wait for Big Sur to be released

  42. Gregory Pierce

    July 12, 2020 at 5:37 pm

You need a better microphone setup. Try to find a Yeti or similar or just move your microphone into frame so you reduce the echo. We won’t mind, we are used to seeing microphones

  53. Max Nguyen
