Public betas are the forbidden fruit of software. I always want the Beta until it betrays me and I never learn lol.

I’ve tried it and put iOS 13 back on my iPhone. It isn’t fully ready for being on your main device. I had random black widgets show up, etc.

I normally uninstall Betas, but this one is very, very stable. It’s still Beta, but you could use it on your main (non-business) phone.

Dont install it. It has a few issues to where it can turn your phone into a brick and you’d have to roll it back to the previous update and potentially lose all of your saved data

If you’re not sure, I recommend not doing it. It’s usually buggy as. The greatest thing about apple devices is how reliable they are ❤️ty to everyone who does though… working out all the bugs makes it easier for us later 🙂

Mayne!! I’m so like you to experiment beta softwares on my primary device. I thought you’d say people who are brave enough to install this on their primary device are stupid. Lol.
Now here’s the thing, iOS 14 Public Beta failed to install on my iPhone 7 Plus. I’ve downloaded the update like 6-7 times now but each time the installation would interrupt with an error message, “update failed to install”. Given I never had such issues while updating previous beta softwares, I’m completely lost how to go back without wiping the entire phone (don’t want to loose my message that are super precious). Yes, I have deleted all my profiles and my software is back to version 13.6 but I’m not sure if everything is fine now. Though, I’m still itching to get the iOS 14 and perhaps would try through mac. Oh! Yes, I’ll take backup this time around. Thank you ????
