You can buy 3 PS5s with the same price of a Macbook. I don’t think I would buy a Macbook just for gaming.

M3 is NOT 2x faster than M1, even according to Apple.

Don’t buy a mac if you want to get into gaming. There’s considerably less choice of titles available on Steam. For example no VR Chat and Cyberpunk.
    Buy a Mac for work.

Open to buying a Mac, but seems like a reason will never come. Such a waste of money for what you get on a Windows laptop.

Now all those people that was blabbing that Samsung is not ashamed of compering fold 5 to fold 3 because there is no difference to compare it with fold 4, non of them have post anything about apple compering M3 to M1.
Even some YouTuber make video as if it’s good ????????

I have a question. Apple didn’t mention if the Magic Keyboard, Trackpad and Magic Mouse in the new 24” iMac are now charging with USB-C cable. Do they?

The Magic Keyboard, Trackpad and Magic Mouse included with the updated iMacs use Lightning to charge.

Apple basically took all the 2021 iMac M1 machines and switched out the chips!

Those look an awful lot like screen space reflections, not ray tracing. They change depending on what else is on the display, rather than bouncing rays from the game world.

As a casual user I don’t need a MBP but these upgrades are terrific.
Getting an iMac is a flex. That’s on my wishlist

It is disappointing that the entry level M3 iMacs have a single slow 256 Gb flash module and only have 8 Gb of RAM. The cost of giving these iMacs the 512 Gb SSDs and the 16 Gb of RAM that is universal in PCs in this price range is $400 which is unreasonable given the fact that the component cost of this upgrade is only around $100. Also most outlets only sell base models of Macs and iPhones and so it will not be possible to go into any high street store and come away with a properly configured M1/M2/M3 Mac with a 512 Gb SSD and 16 Gb of RAM.

Apple and Microsoft are obsolete, now I run those buggy hacked operating systems from within virtual environments on Linux.
(They never got backup or security right, now the issues are solved.)
