Then how do you communicate remotely with record-keeping?

Best wishes doesn’t always work. Sometimes if the conversation goes back and forth, you don’t even need anything except your first name. For first time emails or formal responses to initial emails, i often use ‘Regards,’ as the sign off.

Regards is the way to go.

best wishes = “my company told me to put this at the end of the email and I’m too clocked out to care about changing it”

Just a reminder that this is a waist of Ted talk and she might be able to get a job as a teacher

But no one is smarter than me. What then?

  15. @dragonmaid1360

    March 14, 2024 at 12:03 pm

This is very culturally based. I just say ‘ hi
‘ then the email info then ‘kind regards, my name’. Ive never had an issue and everyone gets the same. Best wishes is far too personal.

Email sucks. Just call them and get it sorted and if there’s no time, wait till there is. Things always change and email is too back and forth and confusing and a massive time waster

Things we learned in primary school for $200. If you’re so dumb that you found this talk informative … God bless your heart. Ted, we expect better.
