@@yassineazoui4204 i agree, i’m a c++ developer and i was trying to bait this kid so i could give him a lesson about how much faster the macos kernel is than window’s absolute mess of a 38yr kernel… and that the only reason you don’t see games running well on macos is: A, apple forces developers to use their proprietary 3d engine (it isn’t bad), and not many developers know how to use it, or how to target macos in general. this is because there are 10000x more PCs out there than macos machines. developers wouldent benefit much at all because 99% of gamers are already on windows and they will make 100x more if they target windows. macos has a notoriously bad reputation with gaming and because of this stigma it is even more discouraging for any indie-billion dollar company to invest in natively targeting macos. other than the kernel macos is actually slower than windows in many ways, but it equally goes the other way. many games do target macos but run marginally worse because 90% of macs don’t have dedicated GPUs, but apple M series SoC gpu is surprising fast for what it is. this is all really apple’s own fault, as they are kind of a shitty company.
