This is not a $400 phone, it’s a $300 phone and u can even get it for less

    • Fernando Zeno Miranda

      May 21, 2020 at 12:09 am

That is true. You can get it for a cheaper price. I gotta say, when you get all those specs for half the price told on the video, you’ll love this phone. It does take some time to get use to gestures, but if you are not into that this is the phone for those who want to have a great device for an awesome price (again if you can buy it for half the price told on this video).

      May 21, 2020 at 12:12 am

If you were to buy it for 400$ I don’t it is worth the price. It would still be good, but there are better phones for the same price.

Doesn’t look like this review video of samsung mobile rather it is a video released to push the iPhone SE sales. I must say there are very good at selling Apple phones. Being a Apple channel it is expected.

    • Jerry Seinfeld

      May 20, 2020 at 6:14 pm

Sarode Mahesh They literally said the phone is laggy and sluggish to use. It’s the year 2020, even budget phones shouldn’t have this problem. Maybe people are giving the iPhone SE better reviews because it’s actually a better phone than this one?

I have it 4 months already. And it is not sluggish, once it got the last Samsung UI update it has become even better and has many features from the s20. Speaker is great, camaras work fantastic, and the screen is just beautiful. Battery life is pretty good. It’s a nice elegant phone that is worthy its price in my opinion. The only problem it had was the slow fingerprint reader, but already fixed that issue and now it is just fine.

    • TC Terrence

      May 21, 2020 at 5:11 am

I have it for around a month now and I would argue that the speaker is average and the battery life is acceptable. The sluggishness and bugs are the things that bothers me the most. I am still happy with the phone though since, well, it’s my new phone after all.

sluggish right out of the blue x is suuuuccchh a no-no
there’s zero point in buying an Android phone that’s laggy when new

    • Alternative Music

      May 22, 2020 at 4:27 pm

Its not laggy at all. Just slow a bit. There is optimise option that you can have to make the performance better.

  28. mustnoor

    May 21, 2020 at 2:24 am

Samsung problem is the software is bloated if they give you the option of standard google UI I would buy one otherwise i will stick with pixel or OnePlus

  29. MAFz777

    May 21, 2020 at 2:57 am

I’d rather get Iqoo Z1 which is a flagship device with a CPU that supports AV decoding than this mid-range phone, also it’s even cheaper!

Another better option than this Samsung is the Honor X10 but that needs GMS downloaded manually from the web.

Samsung should do better than this to compete with the Chinese offerings.

6.5″ Super Amoled vs Teeny Tiny 10 year old LCD… Review over.

  37. Colin

    May 21, 2020 at 7:12 pm

The processor here is capable. I own this phone and after disabling a load of OneUI bloat, I’ve noticed a substantial increase in performance. Alongside that, the OneUI 2.1 update has fixed some issues such as the sluggishly slow fingerprint reader. Samsung’s skin is bogging down its performance, which is very unfortunate because the rest of the user experience is great. On top of all that, the MSRP of this phone doesn’t translate to online stores. I picked up this phone on Amazon for $280 and it works flawlessly on AT&T here in the states. Much better value.

  38. Bálor Club

    May 21, 2020 at 11:55 pm

It’s better than IPhone SE. It’s good, its display is Super Amoled, it’s made of light weight. One complaint to this A 51 is that it should have come with Snapdragon 730 processor.

  41. kuldeep jhala

    May 22, 2020 at 6:39 am

Its a Superb phone given the price.
moreover even s20’s are sluggish here in India as they come with exynos chip & not the sd one.

  42. Mahadev

    May 22, 2020 at 7:23 am

Listen CNET we aren’t going to buy iPhone se… We’ll looking for galaxy A71 or OnePlus 8… As your junk se costs as much as OnePlus 8…

They all seem to have something in common though. They push the SE very hard.

The phone is $300 or less. So you’re saying the price raised? You’re straight up liars. You western reviewers are biased towards Apple. My problem is when you pretend to be neutral while putting out reviews like this.
