I never used self-check out in stores. Why do it when there are employees there?
But I can see how this would be nice at the airport. I never had TSA pre-check. When Active duty they just let me throu easier.

Because employees are slow and people like you are slow to checkout. I love self checkout.

I guess I need to see more, not really sure how this accomplishes the goal of faster security while still being, you know….secure. And truth be told, even when I’m flying out of busy airports like O’hare and LAX, the screening lines move pretty fluid and I’ve never had to wait more than 20-30 minutes to get through the line at the most these past few years.

TSA gloriously fails audits every year, with belongings slipping through. At this point, the TSA exists for Government contractors to squeeze already broke Americans for more money.

They will ban the project once they let through wrong ppl

Really. How much does a TSA person make? Now how much did the Engineer that deployed and maintain the automated security terminal?

It gets rid of low paying jobs that not many people want to create high paying jobs for skilled people.

It’s amazing that we use this at the airport and yet illegal immigrants just walk pass through without being checked

No let them people keep their jobs
