To the first question ( Why not a Duo) The bitter truth is : Solo artists sell better than a duo or a standard group ( singer, guitar, base, drum). The performance on the stage, interviews, appearances are tailored. Emotions are focused to one person. And its much easier to deal with just one person. No group conflicts, no money issues, no a member has issues. None of that. Compare last years top 10 artists in US charts – group vs solo. You will be amazed.

Finneas’s answer on AI seems kind of privileged. AI won’t affect him in any major way, but it actively harms many smaller producers who can’t fight back. If he’s working in a creative industry, he should at least take the time to do his research smh.

7:21 the interviewer is mistaken. He’s thinking of Yesterday, not Let It Be. Fineas says “scrambled eggs” because Paul McCartney dreamt the melody to Yesterday but he didn’t have lyrics. Paul would just make nonsense lyrics as he worked on music and he played around with “scrambled eggs, oh my baby how I love your legs,” instead of “yesterday, all my troubles seemed so far away.”
