So many inaccuracies and the false narrative of pyramids’ history. There is no written proof of the king building the pyramids and sphinx, they have proof of building other stuff and repairing the sphinx.

Older priests themselves say that their culture is an inherited one. Funny how the the list of kings is divided into myth and history by dictators like Hawas.

There is no explanation of the water erosion marks on the enclosure wall of the sphinx.

Curious the timing of this given so many evidences of Egypt being even older are now gaining popularity.

    March 13, 2024 at 12:43 pm

You notice that she’s not a stonemason and has never asked a stone mason how granite can be cut with bronze tools. Egyptologists avoid asking these questions. The stonemason will tell you that bronze saws have little to no effect on granite, and at best can cut a few millimetres every hour using sand and water and lots of hard labour. The resulting groove is not a straight clean cut. It would take large teams many decades just to cut a few blocks with bronze tools. The dropping of stone balls to quarry granite is also impossible as the quantity of stone removed by this method as very, very small. However the quarries in Egypt show strange scoop marks in the granite, even in tight places where a person would have difficulty accessing. Pounding with stones is extremely unlikely.

Ubisoft – who make Assassin’s Creed – is known for trying to make their environments as realistic as possible. In fact, using drones they made a 3D model of the interior of the Cathedral of Notre Dame in Paris for one of their games. That model is being used in the reconstruction and restoration of the cathedral which was severely damaged by fire in 2019

People undervalue and seem to want to compare themselves to the ancient Egyptians; like in Mexico, for instance; but tend to not view this epic monumental time as something so important in our history as humans. Ancient Egypt is and forever will be a time when things were being invented. Things we use to today are THANKS to the ancient Egyptians, a mirror for example; ppl think that’s a modern item—, its origin is EGYPTIAN. They used handheld mirrors to apply their eyeliner. Pillows- also an invention of the Egyptians, though different in looks, it served the same propose as a head rest when sleeping and opened the door for other inventors LATER ON to creating what we now use and know as the pillow. Perfume, eyeliner* wigs and mathematics even— ALL EGYPTIAN; the more you research; you’ll see how the Egyptians were more aware of what we know today as “modern” just w/o the zap ding and zoom of electronic technology✨🫶🏻😌

Why are egyptologist so certain that Khufu actually built the largest Giza pyramid? Could it been he wanted cred and just tagged it later on? Why is it called a tomb since there are none of the wall decorations associated with the afterlife.

Why where the pyramids claimed to be built by later dynasties of inferior quality compared to the Giza pyramid complex? Technology usually advances with time.

    Babylonian Empire
    Medo-Persia Empire
    Grecian Empire (Alexander “the great”)
    Roman Empire

The Grecian and Roman empires both conquered and held Egypt as part of their empires. The Egyptians had Kingdoms, but never an Empire.

You can tell she doesnt feel confident talking about the Egyptian tools used for pyramid construction. IMHO the most important tool in their construction was water. They had mastered controlling water, based on the flooding of the nile, which was their mode of transport. Additionally, they used water for cutting the stone, as well as powering the cranes through water wheels and leverage. It is my belief that they also had circular metallic blades as well as wire saws. I have always found the pyramids to be fascinating amd in time I have run the gaunlet of theories as to construction. Feel free to challenge me if you think Im wrong. All that said, great video. Cheers

The wild canine species of (ancient) Egypt was reclassified in 2015 as the African wolf which is more closely related to wolves and coyotes than the jackal. It’s unclear which canid represents Anubis and his black colour is purely symbolic. Greeks referred to him as having a dog’s head. She already knows this but I thought you should, too.

“We cant build pyramids anymore!” Is the Washington Monument not a very thin pyramid and we built that 180 years ago? We cant make smooth rocks when we have a giant metal pyramid triple the height of the largest Egyptian ones, again in the 19th century? And today’s tall metal buildings are six or more times the height. Such ornate and beautiful shapes and twisting of metal is a lot harder than grinding down limestone … And we have replicated pyramids for a hunting and fishing store even.

ALL empires fail. It is impossible to maintain any empire forever, or for as long as human beings are around anyway. They’ll always devolve, spread themselves too thin, cause uprisings, greatly change with new technologies and new understandings of things and be replaced eventually by new forms of society. The trick is not trying to cling to empires, but to accept the facts of life and necessities of society, so that we evolve and create a society that moves intelligently with change and operates by scientific method, reason and mutual understanding and support of one another. Ancient empires were occasionally able to survive for many hundreds to even thousands of years at a time because the rate of technological change was very very slow, but even ancient Egypt was not in fact just one civilization and empire that just survived thousands of years, it collapsed multiple times and was rebuilt in new ways.

I am in the field as well. She is amazing and really love how she talked about. Egypt’s beginnings is rough of course, some say it started in 5000 BCE as well with some early archaeological evidence supporting it as well. I say even though the first king was in 3000 BCE it started in 5000 BCE. AC Origins is also easily one of the best representations of Ancient Egypt. My professor for some of my Egyptology classes would literally use screenshots for it, and she talked about how Ubisoft had a massive team of Egyptologists that worked extensively to help them build the game’s settings, lore and story.

  193. @Mr.Unacceptable

    March 19, 2024 at 6:15 pm

When asked what Egypt contributed to the world. You didn’t bring up they perfected beer making. The payment system for paying the builders. just like the moon landing inspired a lot we take for granted that would never have come about without it. The pyramids influenced a lot of basic things in the same way. payroll, engineering, math, money, counting. some things would have come round eventually but many things would not or be very different because they needed one little thing that inspired another that inspired another. Maybe we would not have the printing press or cotton gin without the foundations of what the pyramids inspired.

    “Why did ancient Egypt fall”
That’s a stupid question, that’s the same as asking “why did joe Biden fall on the stairs of airforce one” to both the answer is because they are old

  231. @damonlaru8646

    Why does Egypt have Pyramids?

Because they were too heavy for the English to steal.

Joe Rogan better be takin notes on how they built the pyramids.

  237. @deemon710

    March 21, 2024 at 3:12 pm

Y’know. If the brain was scrambled like scrambled eggs, I don’t see a hook being a good way to extract it through the nose. If ancient Egyptians were so smart, I bet someone would’ve figured out to stick a reed or other straw-like instrument up the other nostril and blow like you’re shooting out a booger. 😂

  238. @Cirathos

    March 21, 2024 at 3:33 pm

When did you visit Egypt, specifically, the pyramids? Beer was not as it was today, it was considered like a refreshing beverage. I think you are not a person that knows about cultural history. Workers did NOT get drunk you hypocrite. They drank as a vitamin substitute.

  239. @miguel5785

    March 21, 2024 at 3:55 pm

Why would they want to make the stones perfectly horizontal and vertical only to clad the sides in limestone diagonally afterwards? If you’re going to cover it in limestone, you don’t need to have perfectly vertical stones, do you?

despite being asked who the best pharaoh was, you felt the need to say your personal favorite was the only women pharaoh….and you did not list off any accomplishments other than she used woman language when referring to herself….and yet you probably wonder why many people question the value of college education
