    But, if you don’t know what your dash lights are you shouldn’t be driving. There are only a few symbols that show up. They’re pretty much universal. It’s not like each car manufacturer uses completely different symbols. And it isn’t like the symbols change from year to year.

    I just have to pont out that the iPhone app spelled tire with a “y”. Who developed that app, or is this just an Apple thing?

    Fun fact, there’s this book that comes with every car called The Owners Manual, it has all of this info and more. You should probably read it, especially if you plan on taking a driver’s test soon, at least where I live, you WILL fail if you can’t do simple things like control your headlights(regardless if they’re automatic) wipers, turn signal, hazards, hand signs in the event of a broken turn signal mid test etc
