Byron Allen Sues Nielsen, Says Ratings Are ‘Broken’

Media mogul Byron Allen claimed in a lawsuit that TV ratings company Nielsen Holdings Plc is providing “unreliable” counts of viewers, and he is seeking billions of dollars in damages. He speaks about the lawsuit, the possibility of buying an NFL team, and his interest in buying other media companies on “Bloomberg Television.”

      Nielsen managers have discouraged membership reps from signing up eligable Broadband Only (BBO) homes.
