    I think the Monopoly definition should be updated to include F2P services (free to play) like Facebook that have backend ways to earn revenue off of it’s users. Having control of user data is just as valuable as having their money right from their pockets when you are an organization that sells that data. Though in this regard, Google, Amazaon, Alibaba, Apple, Microsoft, etc are all similar and have carved our niches that work with one another as digital monopolies.
