Making a hit? Not to take anything away from your many accomplishments and your talent, but we all know that songwriters, producers, musicians, singers, etc, can rarely predict which songs are going to be “hits”. Take a deep dive into any band’s musical history and song development and you almost always discover that the songs they predicted as hits, instead flopped, and vice versa. The Beatles, Aerosmith, Led Zeppelin, Blink182, Tupac, Michael Jackson, forget it, I’ll be here all day. Again, I appreciate your success and your talent, but you’re ultimately at the mercy of a very diverse, finicky and fickle public. It’s all subjective, brother. Enjoy the ride while it lasts.
