I’m interested in this project, I’m pretty sure that the fold 4 is going to close totally with 0 gaps forming a solid slab of aluminum… Let’s wait …

    • MrKooderna

      August 6, 2020 at 12:57 am

That just can’t work and be reliable. You need a gap to allow tiny dirt/dust to drop out.

If you have a small rock or thing on screen even if SUPER tiny, and you close the phone, it would immediately Crack the screen if it was screen to screen.

      This is by design

I bet you it still isn’t water resistance.

    • Charlie 『HEXA-N4』

      August 6, 2020 at 12:46 am

Well yes still not a IP68 Phone, kinda Hard to make it full waterproof bcz the Hinge has a small gap that can make water gets into it

I just don’t trust foldable phones yet I think we are about 7 years away from foldable screens without issues 🙁 sadly every foldable phone has had issues with screens breaking and dust, so I’ll get the note 20 ultra

  18. Jeffrey Allen

    August 6, 2020 at 1:05 am

If they give the fold an s-pen I would not hesitate to buy it.

😴😴😴 Better than the original fold, but is still light-years away from the Huawei Mate X design…

Just copy Huawei’s design, it’s perfect. Samsung’s design is so thick and heavy…

Looks great but I don’t see a way to put a case on it, if you drop it you’re probably out of luck, and it will get tons of scratches without one

Could be Samsung’s new flagship phone overtaking the Note series. Now if it had a memory card slot and S pen it’d undoubtedly be the best phone Samsung has made.

I don’t care about the Fold 2. I’m just here to look at what the next Escobar phone is going to look like.

  44. Emerald and Company

    August 6, 2020 at 10:18 pm

It’ll absolutely NOT be water resistant, it’s a foldable, it’ll be years until we see water resistant foldable, if this one is water resistant though I’d buy it

  45. MizKatROCKZ

    August 6, 2020 at 10:43 pm

The cost of this phone is your life and your first born. Lol.

  46. Edmund YH Ee

this is at least 2.5-3k usd.

  47. Muyanzi Reid

    August 6, 2020 at 11:57 pm

I’m still not worth $2,000 I would rather spend $1,000 on the much classier looking Microsoft Surface Duo.

  52. A C

    August 7, 2020 at 6:37 am

With this price it should also be water and dust resistant.. I don’t understand why it wouldn’t be for they master it with their other phones if not for this fold the next generation shoukd be

    • Kostas T

      August 7, 2020 at 9:18 pm

Bro you have moving parts, it’s a new technology, you can’t compared it with other phones. But this year it’s more dust resistant, but dont exp6 a lot on water part of resistant.

    • A C

      August 7, 2020 at 9:22 pm

      @Kostas T understandable

  53. Steve Mi

    August 7, 2020 at 7:19 am

i’ve got the original and its durability is just fine, IMO. But, a few things that most may not know… a) the smaller outer screen is one of the biggest pluses because it makes “phone” use much better. On my previous phones (S9+, etc.) the large screens made one-handed use awkward for thumb-reach. b) though its not water resistant, i still clean it with eyeglass cleaner, no prob. 3) on the minus side (esp. at this price) it lacks both the spO2 and IRIS sensors that i really enjoyed. Anyway, once you go fold, you really don’t enjoy bar-shaped phones nearly as much. if your on the fence, just do it! –And just wear a mask too =P

Please stop making comparisons or even wishing for features in iPhones. Samsung and Apple have different design philosophies, I don’t g why you insist on drawing contracts and comparisons. I believe you do this to sound like you know something about design when you don’t. Stick to just reporting

  63. Jace Johnson

    August 7, 2020 at 3:31 pm

Still not feeling the design. Ultra thick, single screen has a weird aspect ratio. If only the Huawei Mate Xs had android.

  64. Vibey Monk

    August 7, 2020 at 3:52 pm

Microsoft’s duo is just a practical joke

  65. P Mjs

    August 7, 2020 at 4:59 pm

wish sell this fold2 in S.Korea only, so I can have one later with better price!!!

  66. Hanzo Aditya

    August 7, 2020 at 6:03 pm

I think Huawei might XS would be the toughest competitor if some “cowards” did’t band it. While Microsoft Duo might be stayed in Microsoft museum.. ✌️😎

on one cares about the hinge that new front screen is amazing!!! that hole punch on the inside plus the bigger outside screen is exactly what i wanted. i dont care how they make it. definitely will get one

  71. King

    August 7, 2020 at 9:36 pm

this video made me feel dumber…..”will the phone be expensive like the last one, or will it be cheaper like the smaller one with less screens” 😑🤦🏽‍♂️ bro if you lookin to actually buy this phone you dont care about the hinge or it being fragile…..

    • MadMax TheCrazy

      August 7, 2020 at 11:35 pm

And yes i can take phone calls on it

  74. pac 4 ever

    August 7, 2020 at 11:51 pm

I was first excited about this phone until I heard it will have ultra thin glass which is almost the same quality as the fold 1 screen which is notorious for being a weak screen. Somebody did a video of utc and it gets scratched easily! That’s the only reason why I’m reconsidering my decision to get this phone. Still undecided!!!

  75. Miguel Ramirez

    August 8, 2020 at 1:14 am

I hope they fix the jelly scroll problem if not all the other improvements are good but thats a major draw back
