“Compete with iPad” term is being used loosely here. It’s like I play tennis and I compete with Nadal. Lack of software, platform fragmentation, come to mind to name a few. I’m glad they are there hough, otherwise Apple will be sued for monopoly. That’s the good I can think about Android platform as a whole.

Why are you talking about platform fragmentation on a PIXEL device. The iPhones of android… Not to mention “lack of software” what do you mean by that? You’re REALLY reaching for reasons to hate on the opposing platform it seems.

Also, a few is generally 3 or more. You named two vague gripes you had without even actually calling them gripes/cons or whatever. If it’s not for you that’s fine but just say that and don’t pretend to be well-versed in consumer electronics.

Finally…been wait for one like forever. Cannot deal with Sammy’s bloatware. I don’t need/want duplicate of Google apps that I will NEVER USE. Wake up Sammy!

That’s the main reason I don’t get Samsung Phones. The extra bloat ware is awful

Face it, this is nothing more than a $500 Nest Hub display as it’s embarrassing to even call this a tablet, especially after using an iPad. 💯😁

Amazon needs to copy this format for an Echo show.

Come in google why are you giving apple some ideas to raise the price from 999 to 1 billion 99 😂

Not enough to pull me away from iPad. Google Play doesn’t even have a fraction of the amount of tablet fully optimized apps as iPad. And it’s 2023. Google should have done this over 10 years ago.

My question is a make or break buy for me. Does it have nest home monitoring on it when it’s docked like how the hub max has it? I haven’t seen any reports on it yet

  24. Edis Delgado

I will describe it as a tablet that’s also a Home hub not the other way around
