Great budget option since Philips Hue are a million dollars! But I really want them Hue lights one day. Like with these, if the screen is supposed to be black it does like this light default color. Philips hue does black scenes as ‘off’ which is super immersive.

There are other much better units that do not require a camera and respond faster. Not Phillips Hue.

Reviewer misses key + to this over the Hue. Becuse it use a camera for color it isn’t creating a bottleneck in your HDMI 2.1a setup

Nice gadget, but I think the built-in Ambilight function of a lot of Philips TVs is way superior to this. Plus, I wouldn’t want a camera sticking out from the top of my TV in 2021.

I have this. I love it. If your TV is bigger than 65 inches, you’ll need place the camera further away from the screen. I got them on sale for $50

  I have a Govee, it’s camera isn’t a big deal. It’s not very noticeable. T.V. plus light strip cost only around $650.

I’ve been using mine since June 23rd and I love it.
I couldn’t see myself spending 100s of dollars on Phillips Hue

Actually I did this with an iPhone app that captures the colors of the tv from the iPhone camera and connects to the Phillips hue setup to change the color dynamically.

What’s the point of having a distraction while watching TV?. I watch TV with all lights off to get the best experience, which is why I hate RGB lighting on keyboards and mouse.(Oh, I have my TV connected to PC)
