I never use any new thing they put into IOS. I’m happy with my iPhone the way it is. I only update for the security fixes. I don’t care about new features Apple thinks is amazing. I just need my PHONE to make calls, do texts, give me directions, and get my emails. I don’t need to journal my feelings, monitor my sleep, or keep track of my health. It’s a phone after all.

Once US lawsuit come into effect. It will break a lot of what makes an iPhone a great user experience.
Google has a monopoly over non IPhone Smartphone operating systems. This is because Google has implemented some of the vertical integration aka “walled garden” experience to its Android OS. The Google Play store imitates Apple App Store, Google Pay imitates Apple Pay, and Google Photos imitates Apple Photos app. These apps work better on android OS than any other app that provides a similar functionality. What was missing in the past was Hardware that complements the software. This is where Google Pixel come in. It’s basically google’s answer to IPhone. If vertical integration was so bad. Why would Google need it for its own Smartphones?
Fragmentation is the bane to simplicity. The more fragmentation to App Stores, Payment Processors, and subscriptions. The worse the customer experience is.
