Well, we all know why Bloomberg created this pop up ‘media’ platform and that was specifically to manipulate the narrative to bolster those that Mike deemed fit.
Ok, so threatening someone on the internet is not the same as in person.
There’s those that’ll scream it is the same but the fact is it isn’t.
But, someone comes to your house or goes after you in public without a good reason, that is illegal and state and local laws have been in place long before Twitter.
The thing with Twitter is it’s all fake. Almost everything on it is opinion and BS. It’s a platform of whiners and virtual wannabes. It’s also bias to the user. Hypocritically, the moderators ban anyone they deem unworthy and allow the worst to remain without recourse.
This is perfectly ok because Twitter isn’t a necessity and it isn’t a have to have. Someone banned means nothing because it is nothing.
Twitter is as important as MySpace and we all know what happened to MySpace.
Just saying.
Goes for all these SM platforms. They’re all unnecessary and a means to keep everyone distracted from what the bad actors are really doing and they’ve been busy.
One more thing, trolls are generally far left extremists and rarely a right wing advocate. That’s the beauty of being a Right wing leaning person. They don’t need to make idle threats. They go straight to the source and confront them head on and that can be seen right now as evidence. Elon Musk

Mind boggling that anyone can think silence or removal of information solves anything – these trends can lead to True censorship and potentially (an attempt) at proscribed speech laws – attempting to force people to say things polite. The problem? Once that line is drawn? It can be moved by people with less than noble purposes.
Life isn’t fair! When did this notion get lost? Life is hard! For everyone! Yes, it is way harder for some people due to circumstance, and I would not argue that – but people gotta be more resilient, stronger and no wilt under words. Use words to fight back!

Reasonable people, regardless of political standing, should be able agree on censoring some things. Like outright terror campaigns, threats that rise to the level of criminal assault and malicious actors who aren’t arguing in good faith. And if you’re going to have an anonymous communication platform, getting that moderation right is absolutely essential.
But as it stands, Twitter’s failed to get it right. We need to try something (and someone) different.
