The biggest thing for me with my PS5 is the storage Sony you have got to get this going ASAP. And quite frankly after playing Spider-Man Miles Morales and beating that I haven’t really touched my PS5, I’ve been stuck playing everything on my Xbox Series X, PlayStation has always been a good system what I love is their story driven games but for an overall value when it comes to games as a whole I have to go with the Xbox plus you can’t beat Xbox game pass ultimate 👍🏼👌🏽

So … really just expandable storage and no Gamepass. Sony isn’t going to change the device’s size or magically fix joystick drift, and are desperate to fix availability because they like money.

1. Storage (internal and expandable)
2. UI bugs
3. Dual sense battery (still not great)
4. You still are required to download ps4 versions of games even if you bought the ps5 version in order to play the ps5 version
5. $70 exclusives you’ll finish in a week
6. Missing features like smart delivery and quick resume
7. The inability to at least store next gen games on an external drive until you wanna play
8. The fact that to expand the storage and to put the stand on vertically you need to screw/unscrew and take of the face plates
9. The noise from disk drive and the fan when the ssds are available (the ps5 will generate more heat resulting in another PlayStation jet engine)
10. The inability to transfer you saved date through a cloud from console to console by simply putting your profile on it. You must manually transfer the data from the ps4 to the ps5 to transfer data. (You can get cloud saves from a ps plus subscription but 1, you have to pay, and two you still need to manually download it to the console just don’t need the ps4. And there’s still limitations.)

Okay I love my ps5 but here’s what i dont enjoy, so the disc drive makes way too much noise (also randomly reads the disc every 30 mins or so!) Choosing ps4 / ps5 version of a game is not as easy as on the xbox, also prev gen games on the whole are not particularly impressive to behold on the newer system, (with the exception of some noteable console exclusive titles) whereas quite a few games on my series x have enhanced resolutions and framerate options now. So yes it’s good but flawed and with the lack of games and availability of the console itself it is a bit of an akward time to get one!

How can people of the media, make a full video about the product and just be so bed informed and also discredit some service only because it is not mention to much by the player. PS Plus is to the same as GamePass. PSNow is the subscription service from Sony that offer 800+ games, old PS3 games is only streaming, but PS4 you also cans download. How much MS is brainwashed the media is impressive. Money definitely by opinions. I said that because they will say the Sony don “marketing” the PS Now. It is BS.

I have 2 controllers . No stick drift yet but both have had trigger springs broken. I think the springs is more common than stick drift at moment. My console works perfectly.

My ps5 kept turning off on its on going into rest mode. This happened for a week until I figured out the problem, turn off Hdmi link, fixed the issue.

If your legitimately whining that you can’t upgrade basic parts of a console or relying on a manufacturer to decide if they want to add feature you want to see then maybe it’s time to invest in a gaming computer were you have full control 🤷🏻🤦🏻😂 otherwise find something more meaningful to complain about.

You didn’t mention some other missing features like, i can’t check for updates and update history for my PS5 games. And installed games just disappear from the main dashboard, and i have to find it from my game library. And most annoying is everytime I delete a PS4 game, a recently deleted game keeps adding on the main dashboard, and to remove it, i have to do certain steps.

They seriously need to address next gen upgrades on ps5 .. no matter how you look at it, I can’t help feeling this is just poorly implemented.. it makes no sense what players need to do to move their saves when Sony paywalled off cloud saves.. just my two cents..

I have a Day 1 Playstation 5. Is it finally safe too:
1. Use the back usb ports?
2. Use an expandable storage for PS4?
3. Use rest mode?
I’m asking this because my console kept crashing the first day. Went on reddit, some people ended up bricking there console with extended use doing these 3 things.
If I try googling the answer to my question, it only brings up reddit threads from November.
