Just came back from a cruise and used mini on international waters with USB powerbank. Worked flawlessly just by pointing the dish eastwards and slightly elevated, eyeballing position. Even though it was misaligned, couldn’t notice it in performance.

“In the first few minutes, this guy is already demanding that Starlink provide a ‘free’ portable power source. He already owns a portable power station — which costs more than the Starlink kit itself.
Show me one internet provider that supplies its customers with power.”

I would use it to remote into a computer hard wired at home or office. That way you still get the fast upload speeds and you wouldn’t burn through as much data as the upload/downloads would be on your hard wired machine. You’d only be using the data needed to remote in.
