Its stuff like this that shows that apple is done! They dont even need invent something new but just release proper upgrades and still fail… just like the brand new air pod max wich cant even be used with a wired audio source! People start selling the shares because they are going down and even to the AI game they are late.

Atleast if they would bring a alternative to it like wireless charge…

I honestly don’t know what is a huge deal with this. I have a magic mouse. This thing hold battery for years if you don’t use it. When battery is out, I can plug it in for 1 min and I can use it for the entire day. Charging for 30 min, I get 4 months battery life.

People are just super lazy unfortunately

    • @mareksinister

      October 28, 2024 at 4:31 pm

It’s an extremely dumb idea to put the connector at the bottom. Buy a proper mouse, holy cow.

    • @whatgaca

      October 28, 2024 at 7:10 pm

@@mareksinister hmm so what is more inconvenient? A mouse that lasts 4 months but with a conmector at the bottom, or a mouse that needs to be charged every month but connector is in front? I would have agree if Apple mouse needed to be charged very often. When I go to work, I just plug it into my laptop, go and get a coffee, and by the time I come back, it is good for at least 2 months

  9. @KingNaut

People will complain about anything lol. It literally lasts for months off one charge then plugging it in for 2 mins can charge it up to like 30%. People are just lazy. When you get a notification about it being low PLUG IT IN after you’re done using it. It’s really simple and easy

  11. @resolvanlemmy

    October 28, 2024 at 5:22 pm

I just want this thing to be permanently plugged in just like the keyboard. It would be great if they could do that.

    • @StarChaser1879

      October 29, 2024 at 1:20 pm

That’s would seriously degrade your battery

    • @resolvanlemmy

      October 29, 2024 at 3:15 pm

      @StarChaser1879  sigh

  12. @skyler_wa

    October 28, 2024 at 5:40 pm

The put it on the bottom because they don’t want people to leave it plugged in all the time. You may not like it, but it’s an intentional design choice.

    October 28, 2024 at 7:59 pm

So, Logitech’s mouse is still better. Cool.

  14. @rusenakman

    October 28, 2024 at 8:03 pm

Honestly Apple is on a thin ice for years but they keep themselves by making “we know we’re late but we did it better” their motto. The problem is that’s not the case anymore. They need to evasluate their strategy or gonna sink.

  15. @thomas-aherne

    October 28, 2024 at 8:05 pm

I really do not at care about the charger placement, like it takes so little time to charge and it lasts so long.

  19. @apeleptic

    October 29, 2024 at 6:20 pm

I don’t understand why everyone is getting upset or making fun of it. Isn’t the mouse designed in such a way that you almost never have to charge it? Then you take a 20 minute break and it works for another six months. ????
