I want a large battery. All this improvement, means nothing, if the battery is poor as the usual.

Many of the cases for the 22 Ultra have the “P” shape cut out which looks funky but there is some that have a slide section that covers the cameras.. I like those

@Iyaz I overheard that Samsung reps have been visiting retail stores with new phone in hand. Yes on the pen. Yes on it blending and subsequently deprecating the Note line. Yes on it otherwise looking quite similar to the previous model. Good speed improvements. The “light” spectrum notes from the teaser support its codename, project RAINBOW.

The s22 needs a bigger battery. Anything under 4000 mAh is a no go.

    • Raihan Mdgician7

      February 4, 2022 at 9:30 pm

Its 4000 cuz its a mini phone

    • Chad

      February 4, 2022 at 9:34 pm

@Raihan Mdgician7 the s22 isn’t 4000mah. My Pixel 5 is slightly smaller than the s22 but the battery is 4,080 mah.

I think the S series lineup should adopt the square design of the note for all the phones. All other Android phones look the same. Change the design language and use the rounded off design on the A Series

What i think about the tunnel ad, is that tiger is for showing off the ability to look better in night and the motorcycle should indicate, how smooth the video recording will going to be or maybe the screen refresh rate.

A Galaxy Note is still a Galaxy Note, even if it’s now by a different name. Good on Samsung for realizing the Ultra and Note were competing with each other and just making it into 1 phone

I honestly can not understand the meaning of this kind of meaningless review? do you really think that in Samsung someone cares about what you expect? you can talk days month hours what to expect not expect but who cares? you will accept what they represent in a few days like it or not

All is good until Samsung reduced its device prices so rapidly that resale is pathetic..

Who remembers now s21ultra? They stop selling now…amd if they want without reduced prices.(new one)

  31. Otts

    February 5, 2022 at 1:11 pm

They just cut cost by using the Note 21 housing that they already have (since they weren’t able to release it last year) for the S22 Ultra. Or they might have just rebranded the Note 21 ultra as the S22 Ultra and made it seem like they combined the 2 series. Instead of releasing the Note 21 this year which would be another marketing blunder like the S21FE. It’s all just marketing.

    • hardbody training!!

      February 6, 2022 at 7:48 pm

I agree with what you said about note 21 housing and s22 phone but what do you mean s21FE marketing blunder?

    • Otts

      February 7, 2022 at 2:48 am

@hardbody training!! I’m referring to how they won’t be able to effectively promote the S21FE to the market because it came out so late. And there are better deals out there.

All Phones Are So Boring Now. Each OEM Should Just Make One Phone Per Year. At Some Point Carbon Footprint Means More Than Itemized Incrememtal Progress. BORING! And Same With Apple Too! I Have All The Latest…And Its BORING! And I Proudce AMAZING Content & Media On My Devices… But The 5G Connectivity Just Allows Me To Degrade And Devalue My Creations Quicker By Uploading To The Enigma We Call Social Networks. Foldables, Garbage. Surface Duo, Garbage. I Havent Missed An Upgrade Cycle In Years. You Can Count Me Out Of Them All This Year. Just More Of The Same!

Man I really don’t want them to combine Note and S. Still so happy with my Note 9

    • Solun

      February 7, 2022 at 10:24 pm

Note 9 is great. I upgraded from it to the Note 20 Ultra and was actually disappointed in some aspects. Now I won’t upgrade for at least 4 years. It’s not 2013 anymore when there were huge leaps in technology between smartphones in a short timeframe – no matter how much they want us to believe it’s still happening, because it isn’t.

They should make an astrophotography mode on their camera app since it would be fitting for the Samsung “Galaxy” name. Also a very clear night mode would be nice

It’s looking note will merge and this is make me happy,
Samsung Dex will worth it with HDR screens, 1tb and huge ram
    Yes
    Buy and keep
And will give great opportunity and I will use with Dex option
    Games, movies, serial…
I don’t have laptop 🙂 I’m lucky and not have tablet

IM SO DISAPPOINTED AND UPSET WITH THE S22 ULTRA 5G!!! THE FACT THAT IS DOES NOT COME WITH EXPANDABLE MEMORY STORAGE SUCKS!!! I AM A NOTE FAN AND WHEN THE NOTE WAS DISCONTINUED I THAT WAS UPSETTING UNTIL I HEARD ABOUT THE S22 ULTRA… BUT AGAIN SAMSUNG SCREWED IT UP AGAIN BY IMMITATING iphone!!!! IF I wanted an iPhone I’d go get it but I own various Samsung products and like how they function together. I WILL NOT SPEND OVER $1000 FOR A PHONE WITH NO EXPANDABLE MEMORY STORGE SO I HOPE THE S22 IS A FLOP!!!!

  60. William Herman

    February 8, 2022 at 8:51 pm

IF Samsung has really done away with the Note line of Smartphones, then the S22 Ultra needs to be everything the Note has been, and more.
The Note was by far and away the best phone I have ever owned. It’s not even close.

The S Series has been a great phone, but its just not as good or as strong as the Note Series.

I am really hoping that the Note comes back, but if not, the S22 has to be as close to the Note as possible, or Samsung is going to lose a lot of otherwise loyal customers
