I am not sure if I should buy the S22 Ultra or the plus considering that I am not a big fan of the ultras Design and the s-pen. I am using the S20 Ultra now and I am not sure if the S22 Plus is even an upgrade in terms of Battery life and Camera which is (next to Design) most important for me. (the value for money is not that important for me)

Yeah the phones look nice but most people are going to put a case on it. And with Android recovery mode I can clean out the cache and re-optimize the phone on the fly. I just did not see it as a worthy upgrade from the S10. In my view the s20 and 22 look the same to me. I was tempted to get the ultra model but change my mind. I decided to get the S8 ultra instead because I’m in school. It felt like a new tablet would be more worthwhile than the phone. I’m getting to the point where the phone is just a phone. I’m a tech enthusiast but recently I have been feeling burnout but maybe that’s because we have moved to this new smartphone obsession. To be honest all the smartphone is is just a micro tablet. If you have a smart TV or a tablet then you may realize oh it’s just a phone 🤣. I’m waiting to see if they’ll make a smart calculator and see how exciting they can make that 😂.

After 5.5 years with budget phones A5 and A50. i have decided to buy a flagship phone and pre order S22 plus in green color, that looks amazing in the store.
S22 nice and has comfortable grip in the hand, but too small for me after 6.4″ that i used to.
S22 ultra looks and feel like a brick ,not to mention the big price tag.

Do you love the box-like feel of iphone 13? Do you love the never ending customization of one UI 4?
This is S22+ is the love child of those two. The most underrated aspect of this device is how wide it feels in the hand, it’s not that narrow S series device we are used to.

The regular S22 is the best size. I have gotten where I kind of hate phablet, massive phones. They are heavy and aren’t pocket friendly. 6″ phones are the biggest phone I want. I actually would like a 5.7″ even better

I like the size of the regular S22. It fits my hands perfectly. But like the review says, the S22+ has some premium features such as the 45W charging and I think it has WiFi 6e if you want to be future proof.

S22 Plus is still a phablet. Right size for what? Too small to watch a movie, too small to play a game, too big to fit your pocket. Phablet. The “compact” S22 is still too big for a phone in my world. Iphone 13 mini has on ok size for a phone. Unfortunately it’s plagued with IOS and Apple ecosystem.

I pre-ordered the s22+ coming from an s9. I wanted the bigger screen and battery. Testing them in store it really didn’t feel much bigger either. Ultra is more phone than I need and actually did feel too big when I held it.

The 256gb max with no expandable memory is what’s hanging me up. I don’t really WANT the size and features in the Ultra, and I won’t use the pen at all. But I have a 1TB S10+ right now, and I don’t think I can manage going down to 1/4 of the memory.

1:28 the S21 has a plastic back & the s21+ has a glass back, I don’t know where did you get that “metal back” from. 6:00 lasting slightly longer while having a 300 mAh smaller battery than S21+? I would consider that as improvement

I have pretty big hands so the 6.6 inch screen of the S22+ is better for me. I’m so tempted to upgrade but it’s a little too soon for me right now. I’ll see how OnePlus holds up with their software because it’s been getting bad lately. That’s the primary reason why I got a OnePlus 8. I think I’ll wait for the S23 or S24.

Just got mine, upgrading from 20Ultra. Ngl, I wish it was a bit heavier and a little longer. It looks really cute, but the feel is off because the matte back feels slidey in my hand. Idk, I’ll see if I get used to it

The best update: it gets 4 years of Android updates and 5 years of security updates. This lowers the cost per year significantly. This makes the decrease in battery size even more aggravating. An increase would have ensured it to last the 5 years.

Love my S21+. Bought it last December after my S10+ (wich ill keep,because it is still a great phone),and before the S9+,S8+, S7edge,Note3,Note3. The S21+ is a fantastic device. Don’t need to upgrade to the S22+
Not a huge difference.
And it saves you a lot of money.

my s10+ is nearing the end, I’ve been waiting for the new Samsung models for the past 3 months. I didn’t like the S21 so thought I’d wait. I preordered the S22 ultra on the 10th of Feb but just cancelled that because I feel the s22+ will serve my needs 🙂 here’s hoping!!!

when I say nearing the end, my power button fell out and is lost, there’s two green lines down the left of my screen and it only powers on my wireless pad, plus all the cracks in the screen
