My Samsung folds have been cracking and then the screen eventually gives up.
Scared to take chances on foldables.

My Fold 3 inner screen cracked twice in 18 months. I’ve had my One Plus Open since it launched nearly 3 years ago with 0 issues tho. I think Samsung just has quality control issues or something.

maybe apple will perfect it
@NewMateo

It’s probably just the screen protector. Remove it and put a new one one it. They sell replacements. You’d want to do this because you don’t want the adhesive to give issues to the inner part.

Most complete all-around foldable to date. Definitely worth noting the active stylus support on both the inner *and* outer displays. While Samsung dropped the S Pen entirely, Moto is out here not only including it on both screens, but making the stylus Bluetooth enabled for functions such as remote camera shutter.
1:40 the multitasking is far more capable than what’s being shown here, which is a shame because it really is a standout feature, let alone on a book style foldable. Spending 20x longer on the cameras is … A choice.

why do they think people will buy a Motorola phone for $2,000
@MorganTheGorgon
June 3, 2026 at 5:04 pm
With how strongly moto phones depreciate, I could see this being an incredibly good deal in like 8-12 months from now secondhand tbh. Samsung’s foldables really haven’t come down in price at all like we thought they would six years ago so cheaper alternatives are always good

Camera on the corner vs center is a lot better. Most people who have a fold probably don’t video chat much or just use the front display. It’s pretty annoying watching videos or using apps on the big display on the fold7 with the hole punch right three. Personally I wish they’d just go back to in screen cameras

The reason MacBook charging brick slow charged a Motorola phone or other android phones is PPS. Please touch base on this as it’s deceiving the way it was presented. Most anker or third party chargers have this enabled

I’ve had the Razr Fold for almost 2 weeks and I really like it. I used a Baseus GaN 65 watt charger from Amazon and it fully charges from 15% to 100% in about 25 minutes. It displays that Turbo Charging is active and it does get warm but it’s fast. It will change from Turbo to Quck Charging when it gets past 85%. Overall the phone has been great and I would recommend it. I’m using it on AT&T with no issues.

As an engineer, a foldable phone must be weaker than any others. There’re several cables to connect each display. That’s the most important part of making dualable devices, and almost every manufacturer makes that part as assembled one. In the case of Samsung’s one, endure about 2~3 years. But the ironic thing is that they care much about securing their phones. Other brands never do as them. Obviously, you can find cheaper one or something special thing, but I would say never trust cheap manufacturer. They make pays doubled
