PlayStation gamers have the opportunity to wreck scalpers. Change their tune, chatter on wanting to buy a PS5 Pro online and social media outlets. Come time for preorder, don’t. Watch all the bots (scalpers) purchase them and sit back and relax as all these scalpers sit on an overpriced console. ????????

So the initial 4K 120fps lie burst. Whatta surprise.

Price is reasonable from what I’ve seen, honestly totally worth it!!!! Price is no issue. I am definitely getting me one

Microsoft has already said they have no plans of making upgraded models for this generation. Their focus is on the next generation.

    • @jayevans20

      September 10, 2024 at 4:23 pm

And based on what Sony is releasing, they made the right decision. The PS5 pro is a Series X with more ray tracing.

      September 10, 2024 at 4:58 pm

Well DF would probably immediately note that the Pro is worthless, so Sony wouldn’t want that

The price is even worse if you’re like me and from the UK. £700 converted to US dollar is $900 and if you’re in the EU, €800 is a little over $1000. So we’re actually paying more, just for being in a different country. Make it make sense.

    • @GenkiStarLeaf

      September 10, 2024 at 5:39 pm

The price of gaming has just become ridiculous. With that £700 we’re not even factoring the price of the subscription tiers and the £70 games. ????

  14. @KennyBeam-z6z

    September 10, 2024 at 5:29 pm

They will hold games back just so the ps5 pro version is better and more appealing to own. All companies follow the COD format of business and it hurts. But PS5 Pro is the License to enjoy Future games from Sony at 60fps

I don’t give a damn about disc drives because I buy my games purely digital, just like a Steam user. Anyone who values a broad game portfolio should try PC gaming with a GeForce Now subscription. You get high-end performance, even with Xcloud integration, and you don’t have to deal with those childish console upgrades or waste unnecessary money on upgrades that make every PC user just laugh.

The PS4, PS4 Pro and PS5 were all excellent value for money. The PS5 however is outrageously expensive in Europe, especially for the meager visual improvements it brings. A PS5 Pro “disc edition” is going to cost us 920 f***ing euro. That’s highway robbery. This is the first time I feel Sony is ripping off its most loyal customers.
