Our heart rate is already being tracked with our body sensor on the phone. Why would anyone want to sleep with Google tracking their sleep and directing
frequencies to their body as they sleep? Makes no sense when we’re being bombarded with frequencies everywhere we are and go during the day which we already know isn’t good for our health. I personally sleep with a faraday cloth over me and sleep much deeper and better than I did without it

First Adopters are by their very nature GREEDY. Greedy people don’t care about being monitored,
to them it is a necessary evil.
Not all of them, but many of them.

No feature is free, you paid for the device and on top of that you’re are giving all your data to google so they can train their AI…

      April 12, 2021 at 3:31 pm

You think you’re only giving up all that data to train their AI and the deal is up? No! This is only a preview before Google starts up charging for the sleep tracking feature from next year.

It’ll be interesting to see how well this works – or if it will work along or at all – with a CPAP machine, as the machine tracks not only your hours of sleep, how many times you stopped breathing, how many hours of sleep you got that night and the 2 previous nights, and a slew of other detail that the Nest Hub simply doesn’t have the tech to cover.

It’s an expensive alarm clock in my opinion – with perks.

If anyone believes google won’t store the data and sell it, they’re dreaming.

you obviously dont know enough about EU. What ever the company tracks they have to mention it in the accounts. Is Google dumb enough to provide all the data in your account settings.

The more you make noise about unnecessary things, the more it becomes common.

If Google started tracking that data too in the future, it will be common by then and most people don’t care.

    • Wendigo Smith

      April 12, 2021 at 2:17 pm

@Ravi Teja KNTS People do care if google abuses the ridicuous power we give them. That’s called tyranny. And no society built on tyranny will last.

@Wendigo Smith Yeah people care. But don’t use your power to spread the misinformatiom. Make noise only when it’s true.

@Ravi Teja KNTS What power?? I’m an underpaid engineer. All I can do is warn people when I see abuse. What good is complaining AFTER google already sold your data???

    • Ravi Teja KNTS

      April 13, 2021 at 4:16 am

@Wendigo Smith not alteady sold. Complain when they are doing. It like beating a kid because he might do something bad in future.

    • Wendigo Smith

      April 13, 2021 at 7:10 am

@Ravi Teja KNTS What user data has google not sold? Like facebook, selling user data is their main profit. Youtube loses them money, maps costs them money, google is a miserable failure as a company. It’s time people knew the truth.

      April 14, 2021 at 3:02 am

@Wendigo Smith You mister dont even know how the ads work. Just sit calm kiddo. Or do some research.

Google relies on user data, selling that data is like killing themself. Google because a good ML and AI company because of that data. If it sold it, they will not be special anymore.

Anyhow thinking about privacy is good, but being dumb isn’t. Get kmowledge before leaving a word out.

Free tracking for a year only… that’s pretty lame. Samsungs watches do that for no additional cost.

Pretty silly review. Sleep tracking without deep sleep is useless. Also, google does not even really know when you are awake. I don’t think the radar is doing anything. It’s just figuring out when the lights went out and when they came back on again. That should take about 15 minutes of programming work.

I was a very poor person, who was not always lucky when it came to playing the lottery. I have played the lottery since I was 19 years old and now I am 45 !!! … which means that I have been playing the lottery for a long time. The highest amount I have ever won was $ 400 … funny, right? But one day my story goes down in history after I discovered this man’s name on the internet … I heard that he is the best when it comes to winning the lottery … well I never believed it, I just decided to give it a try. My luck ! for the last time! so boom !!! My life changed in seconds. This man is a very strong voodoo who provides numbers that will never fail. After all my years working and fighting to win the lottery, I finally won ($ 30,000,000) and it wasn’t just what I won, there are so many more! Dr. okiki the great! is the name of this great person, send a message or contact by WhatsApp now +2348071452791 … percent remember that I am not writing thist just for fun. I have suffered and struggled all my life. But now I’m okay! So I know that many other people have been through the same thing and are still going through it !! Only then is it possible to win the lottery and not miss this opportunity! It’s life changing! you can also be happy in these parties with your family and friends !! don’t you dare miss this opportunity !! I’m saying that some will think it’s not real !! your lost
