Her. It’s the movie Her. How are we not calling this what it is? Scarlett Johansson’s voice is the only one not shown that they definitely want. This is nuts

They need to focus AI augment on glasses. Not just there version of glasses. Any type. Say i get new glasses frames cuz i need glasses to see. There be a option to say do you want Augment reality installed and be able to use phone as well. Everyone would benefit on these.

they never quite give us what we want, where stuck in their ecosystem and we can’t customise it properly, i know it’s still early days for this stuff but c’mon i want to use any phone with my prescription ar glasses that work competently well, like they know we want that, yet stuck to their limits due to a lack of future money if they make the perfect thing now

Apple filed a trade secrets lawsuit against OpenAI last Friday, and it’s not messing around. The complaint alleges a pattern of misconduct reaching all the way up to OpenAI’s chief hardware officer and claims more than 400 former Apple employees now work at the company. OpenAI’s response so far has been carefully hedged, and the timing couldn’t be worse with the company reportedly eyeing an IPO as early as later this year.

On this episode of TechCrunch’s Equity podcast, hosts Kirsten Korosec, Anthony Ha, and Sean O’Kane dig into what the lawsuit could mean for OpenAI’s own hardware ambitions and IPO timeline, plus a bigger theme running through the week’s news: how much should anyone trust AI companies with their data?
