It’s truly insane how every media company is slitting out the iPhone duos name for views.

Do not buy foldable phones! Too expensive and for sure not worth the higher prize!

@nooahchannel I’m on my second foldable cell the Razor 2024 , I love it . I personally would not like to have a candy bar cell again – they crack to easy for me . Yes they are to expensive I assume it has to do with trade issues.

A $1,000 plus need to change eand evolve a lot with no added problems, a foldable phone touchscreen is bringing too many problems on top of the normal smartphone. That is why I would rather get Meta VR Glasses because they is a real evolution that doesn’t bring unnecessary problems I didn’t asked for. I don’t wanna cope with crease, I don’t wanna cope with soft screens that can easily be scratched. I don’t wanna worry or cope with any of them

Like how these guys act like they’re doing something that Apple did not.

    • @numi5003

      October 24, 2026 at 9:49 am

No, but unlike most other foldables, Apple didn’t give the data. Obviously they do tests, but do YOU know the stress test results? Neither do we! Let’s find out together.

    • @JonMeFree

@qpwoeiruty108 Of course. Those numbers aren’t public. They also test every phone.

      October 24, 2026 at 5:23 pm

@qpwoeiruty108 I’m sure ones they test, don’t think they testing phones that’s being boxed up to sell, this is all third party testing

Doesn’t need to be chambered and cooled to account for the heat generated by constant motion?

  13. @soulchorea

    October 24, 2026 at 7:40 pm

I think a factor that these tests are leaving out is friction. Open/close/open/close that many times, and that quick in succession, is generating heat and potentially wearing components out than the same amount of folds at a normal usage pace would. Whatever number they come up with, it’s not like every Duo has that same exact finite number of folds before it breaks, you know?

    • @iapplethis

      October 24, 2026 at 8:28 pm

yea these types of tests r not realistic… its about load over time, not a specific number

  14. @soulchorea

I think a factor that these tests are leaving out is friction. Open/close/open/close that many times, and that quick in succession, is generating heat and potentially wearing components out significantly faster than the same amount of folds at a normal usage pace would. no one is interested in this. Too much hate at this point. In this economy if you can afford go and buy, but if you can’t afford to buy one, don’t keep attacking apple. m not a die hard apple fan but this is crazy, never seen videos attacking a new product so badly.

Anyone here remember the torture machine the Z fold 1 went through? Pretty sure that machine died before the phone did lmfao
This feels more like gentle caresses than an actual test.
