    Why do robots need head?

Cameras and sensors can be put on chest.

So far wiping the table to clean it isn’t going all that well IMO. And handing over bags isn’t the most useful thing in or around the house to do.

humanoid design is overrated. What we really need is a shoulder spider that can 3d print items we need and help translate other language on the spot

I don’t trust this “Man’s Best Friend”. I mean, he’s already hugging my wife!!!

“If on the fritz, it can be deactivated remotely” – Reminds me of teachers saying that if you’re on the floor being beaten up by a bully, you should tell “them to stop and call for a teacher”.

Why not just hire a house maid at a decent wage. There you go, no need for robots.

Great for the people who are haunted by those shadow entities, could delay the terror but would no doubt freak many people out. I think once people start building their own than they will for sure be safer. I guess some elites have had some already but they are big and clunky

  25. @jhchooo

All the dudes here are thinking about one thing with that robot

  26. @JediGP

Just pick up your own bag, you don’t need a robot.

  30. @roiking2740

it seems that we are maybe five years to ten years away from commercial release.

  31. @LongNguyen-ce8nn

The robot’s rigid movement and short battery life are still hard obstacles to get past.????

  36. @Denver_tld

    September 13, 2024 at 5:05 pm

just hype and clickbait, all i could see is a bag pickup and a proframmed hug and a demo of the robot waving his hands no actual walking nothing high dexterity shown.

  37. @ChosingGod

    September 13, 2024 at 7:17 pm

No humanoid robot should cost more than or equal to an cheap car. Even though it is A.I., the actual cost per pound in materials is much less in the robot.
