Cool to show off to your friends, for now… Obviously fully color projection would take much more battery power, but even if you do have perfect color picture quality projection, you still need something to project on, using your palm is not an option, you will get tired quickly, only something like glasses can solve this limitation… can be sold separately))

Making money is an action. Keeping money is behavior, but “growing money is wisdom”. I found this out a week ago after getting a $10,000 return on my $3,000 investment in 7 days.

A serving of almonds is about 5g of protein, not 15g. And he’s likely not even holding a full serving.

    • AmumuIsAlive datcom

      November 10, 2023 at 11:24 am

The AI estimated he had ~70g of almonds in his hand that’d why it’s say 15g.
The problem was the skin color and the luminosity of the room, the AI miscalculated the depth of his hand because he had probably half of it (25g/7.5g protein).

I think v2 will use some kind of laser scanning for those kinds of questions, honestly this is a great tool, i’ll still wait 1/2 years before buying it

Imagine sitting next to someone on a plane or public transport and being a captive audience to their running dialogue with the projection on their hand. At least with a smartphone you can check messages, the weather and arrival time silently and privately.

  9. Saka

    November 10, 2023 at 2:58 am

Looks like it took the grams of protein per 100g rather than estimating what he had in his hand.

Can’t wait to watch monochrome videos laser’d onto my hands while the sound emits away from me.

A 1 oz serving of almonds is 6 grams of protein. 1oz serving is about 23 almonds. 15 grams of protein would be about 57.5 almonds. There are not anywhere close to 57.5 almonds in his hand.

    • ZTron57

      November 12, 2023 at 9:38 am

      Interesting. Good point. I’ll add

I looked up almond weight. The calibre of the fruit falls into the 16/18 category. Which is 16 to 18 almonds per ounce. There are 28.35g per ounce.

I Paused the video and counted 13 almonds, his hand is cupped so maybe he’s holding 20 almonds, at most.

There are .26 grams of protein per almond on average. So he would have to have held 54 almonds, at least

Whatever the case we both agree: the macros are way off. A massive, easily verifiable, numerical mistake for the official release video.

This product will bomb harder than the Pebble Watch

Surviving the long road to FDA approval isn’t just about building great technology, it’s about keeping your team motivated, finding the right investors, and learning how to operate when timelines are uncertain.

This week on Build Mode, Isabelle Johannesen sits down with Robbie Bustami, co-founder and CEO of BioticsAI, a Startup Battlefield-winning company building an AI copilot for ultrasound to help detect fetal abnormalities. From a $100K prototype to FDA clearance, Robhy shares what it actually takes to build in one of the most regulated industries in the world.

In this episode, they break down what it really looks like to build a medtech startup, where you can’t “move fast and break things,” and every milestone takes time, coordination, and trust.

This conversation covers:
🧩How to stay motivated and keep your team aligned when FDA approval isn’t guaranteed
🧩What founders need to know about navigating the FDA process from day one
🧩 How to find investors who understand the slower, high-risk nature of medtech
🧩 Why cross-functional collaboration (engineers, clinicians, researchers) is critical to success
🧩 The role of advisors and why active industry experts matter more than big names
How to build momentum and celebrate wins during long, uncertain timelines
