This is fantastic, but the cost could bye by town or at Regional schools. How can we get this information?

    Oh I know!
Have light bulbs been invented yet that can switch between regular fluorescent and UV lights?
    That might work!

Supermarkets here in Bangkok have been using something like this since the start of the pandemic.

Ridiculously expensive. Why not focus on affordable units that even small businesses and homes can afford? (Answer: Greed…as usual)

UV-C is really dangerous if you’re exposed to it for a long time! it will dry out your eyes and make your skin swell
but is a very good disinfectant and also bug killer

It should be used at night time and/or when the building is being least used during the day

blah, you could build this for $1000, just mount a UV-C light array to a Roomba!

I had a nurse friend tell me it doesn’t kill Corona.
      But, I have no proof.

They put uv lights on a roomba and they want 40k for it.

I bought a mini UV lamp from XIAO Mi for my car.
I wondered, why not just install the UV lamp with normal ceiling light and set timer to switch on it.🤔

Dear CNET. Kids under the age of 16 are essentially immune to Covid. Now, nursing home patients are not.

Either way. Schools are a petri dish so it’ll be good to have that kind of thing around.

Super dupe grade robots are 4 quadrilion, so this is quite reasonable. /s
Ar they pulling prices out of… thin air to make this look like an ok product. I don’t know how much a disinfectant UV lamp is but a normal CCFL light is a UV lamp coated with phosphor to convert the UV to visible light. So i guess not that expensive. And the base is a dumb vacuum cleaner robot with a bigger battery. I suspect a BOM of less than $2000. So this looks like greedy stuff.
