Search for Matthew Walker (Ph.Doink), he’s the goat. This vid is suboptimal to say the least.

      June 12, 2024 at 6:21 pm

Yeah you should look into your sleep cycles. Maybe you’re not getting enough deep sleep

I would search for the symptoms of narcolespy and look if you recognize them

No, no, yes. And that’s the nightmare. But, I’ve been told I have Sleep Ap. and I tend to jump around while sleeping and wake up ever hour and I can not sleep during the day.

I used to only sleep for 2 hours a day. Never felt tired nor sleepy at all, for years. Now I feel tired and sleepy even with 10-12 hours of sleep

It depends on the person and the situation !

As a person who wakes up very early in the morning, often 7 hours is not enough. But I catch up more sleep than 7 hours the weekend !

“Some can get by with 5 or 6” is patently not true. You need 7-8. Everyone does.

The best way in in intervals of 3 hrs. Since it takes that for your brain to complete its cycles .You will feel better with 6 as you apposed to 8. If you wake feeling tired it’s because you interrupted your cycle. If you wake up feeling rested, its because you either slept 3,6,9 hours instead of 5,7 or even 10 which is worse than 3 hrs. ❤
