I see how you would disagree with her beliefs but I think her speaking her mind on that topic kind of condones that leadership quality. The ability to disperse your beliefs so the followers can know more about you and open up to them as an example. I don’t think she was forcing her beliefs on anyone in the audience by any means.

My colleagues had a good laugh at me when I told them I started my journey with $50k capital and how I accumulated over 6 figures within a span of 7 months. They never believed me until I pulled out my P&L.

I know that learning the ins and outs of the market isn’t for everyone, that’s why personally, Bruce Murdock oversees my investments.

“Own your journey, with all its challenges and triumphs. Draw strength from your roots, where grit and determination are forged. Fear less, be fearless, and turn obstacles into opportunities. Give back, pay it forward, and raise your voice for others. Remember, your experiences, not titles or degrees, make you a great leader. You are enough, and your story matters.”

I believe everyone is holding our breath waiting for the next events, events that will have impacts on the whole world and humanity.

Since the end of the World War II, humanity has been blessed with a long period of time to study our own behavior. Among the many choices we have to choose from, we choose action A over action B. Today, it seems that humanity is faced with the choice of war or peace. And, like countless other choices, no one can take away the right to choose from humans. This is our choice.

However, this choice cannot be as simple as whether you choose to wear a blue shirt or a red shirt today, this choice is the result of millions of other small choices that we make every day and needs to be based on real insights deep into our human natures.

Humans have been given a long time to study ourselves. What do humans really need? What makes human life happy and meaningful. Many scientific researches have been done and shared generously, many Nobel Peace Prizes have been awarded. And I believe that this is the time for each individual to sit together for a peaceful voice for humanity. As M. Scott Peck once said, problems cannot be solved just by waiting for them to pass.

Humans have evolved over other species because of one key point that humans realized that harmonious balance is a better option than species-defending behavior through fighting. And it is time for behavioral scientists, psychologists, political scientists, thinkers, social activists to come together and create a common voice about balance. Every country, every person has their own needs and the balance needs to be re-established on the basis of understanding and respecting the needs of each side. This is really difficult and I think it requires a very deep understanding of human nature and extremely subtle and humane strategies. And this voice needs to be spoken loudly enough right now.

I am a small person who feels stuck because I don’t know what to do now. I know that there are many dedicated people here who are taking actions, researching and sharing things that bring a better life to human every day. So please allow me to share my thoughts here. And, please get your voice today, to share the call for Peace for The Earth.

This new way of treating depression starts with rewiring the brain #TEDTalks

The idea that depression comes from a chemical imbalance in the brain has shaped treatment for decades. Neuroscientist Lisa Monteggia shares research suggesting that’s not the whole story — and shows how a decades-old drug could upend what we thought we knew about depression, with the potential to offer relief within hours.
