Bezo…. won’t spend all the money he has in a lifetime. These folks aren’t asking for a handout, just not to be stingy. Godspeed and safety to all of them.

    Solidarity forever
    Solidarity forever
    Solidarity forever
For the union makes us strong
When the union’s inspiration through the workers’ blood shall run
There can be no power greater anywhere beneath the sun
Yet what force on earth is weaker than the feeble strength of one
But the union makes us strong
    Solidarity forever
    Solidarity forever
    Solidarity forever
For the union makes us strong
It is we who plowed the prairies, built the cities where they trade
Dug the mines and built the workshops, endless miles of railroad laid
Now we stand outcast and starving midst the wonders we have made
But the union makes us strong
    Solidarity forever
    Solidarity forever
    Solidarity forever
For the union makes us strong
They have taken untold millions that they never toiled to earn
But without our brain and muscle not a single wheel can turn
We can break their haughty power, gain our freedom when we learn
That the union makes us strong
    Solidarity forever
    Solidarity forever
    Solidarity forever
For the union makes us strong
In our hands is placed a power greater than their hoarded gold
Greater than the might of atoms, magnified a thousand fold
We can bring to birth a new world from the ashes of the old
For the union makes us strong
    Solidarity forever
    Solidarity forever
    Solidarity forever
For the union makes us strong

Unions are the result of mistreatment of employees by the business. Amazon will forever be punished. Saddled with an antagonist partner ie the employees.
Tesla is paying top wages offering excellent benefits and stock options for all employees. Jeff cannot learn from Musk.

I GLADLY pay 75 a month for union dues at my job. The benefits of it far outweigh that small amount.

In the COVID-19 era it has become increasingly obvious to tens of millions of working class and suddenly ruined middle class Americans that our capitalist system -combined with American imperialism – is rotten to the core. History teaches that decaying capitalism needs a FOREIGN ENEMY . That explains all this Wilsonian blather over a SOVEREIGN Ukraine . Our ” interests ” as working class people in the United States and as working class people in the Ukraine have nothing in common with the interests of the American plutocracy or of the Russian oligarchy .
Applause for the now unionized AMAZON workers.

We people have the power.. people don’t let them divide us. If we all unify, we can demand a better pay. It’s that simple

any higher wages those employees receive will go to paying labor union dues……not a win in my opinion

    • wessroberts

      April 3, 2022 at 11:35 am

Lol what? Dues are typically less than 100 a month… the pay increase they will likely see will more than cover that. Not to mention better safety and workers rights within the workplace.

They need all Amazon workers to Unionize.
The so-called third party delivery drivers, Whole Food & Amazon Fresh markets.
If all Amazon unionize, Brick & Mortal companies could compete and forget about Amazon same day or next day delivery.

  24. Jim Choi

    April 2, 2022 at 10:52 pm

Amazon probably will close the warehouse.
With unionization, they won’t be able to fulfill same day or next day delivery work.
Amazon won’t be able to drive workers to the ground.

Companies and businesses are dependent on workers. So, workers are beginning to realize that they can use the threat of mass walkouts as leverage against employers. Unions will evolve into something independent of company contracts and will instead turn into private organizations that monopolize the workforce and ban members from working with companies that do not meet the demands of the union/organization.

we have had unions here in Denamrk since the 1870’s and the work and struggles they have gone through is the reason why danish workers both in the private and the public sector have the rights and benefits we have… 37 hours workweek.. with full benefits even if you are a parttime worker .. 5 weeks vacation, sickleave, 52 weeks maternity leave fully paid, aso aso ..

Bad choice to be unionist with Teamsters. You keep paying your union fees every week but no where to fight for you. O yes an automatic raise every year that’s all. After I retired Teamsters delay for years to get your $35 every month.
Must watch the movie ‘’The Irishman‘’ 2019 the the movie will explain how they work against you. More strikes for sure and quality and service will drop.

If Amazon was doing such a great job connecting to his employees no union would have been needed if he can make millions of dollars a minute he can afford to give employees much more than $15 an hour ….his empire was built on the back of cheap labor damn near close to slave labor

Shut down all the facilities, and show Bezos what true power looks like. We the people hold the power, and that’s why they try to divide us. Although, when we come together, they don’t stand a chance.
