Ali Rowghani’s great’s achievement is having been an executive of a failed company that loses money year-over-year, pays luxurious compensation packages to executives, then borrows money to do stock buybacks?

More than enough to be given a platform where he can give business advice to someone who many consider the great innovator of our time. Who exactly is naive here?

    Genius.

How does the platform become more relevant? By being owned by Elon and letting everyone use as they please maybe?!

It all comes down to attention and gathering as much data as possible on users. Sick business model.

Twitter has been lying about their user numbers for years, yet liberals/Democrats are expecting Twitter to stop “misinformation”.

This is the kind of world 🌎 we’ve made for ourselves and our children, better have no enemies when the light goes out , due to the economic crisis, wars and rate of unemployment I think now is the best time to invest and make more money for the future

yeah, right… I bet you there are people waiting in line to apply at twitter now that Elon will be at the helm.
And also, case in point: Tesla and SpaceX seem to be doing just fine!

I have always liked Elon Musk, I especially like SpaceX, but I think he has made a big mistake with this one. Most Americans are not going to sit there and listen to trolls with their conspiracy theories and lies. It will become either a right-wing or left-wing format and there will be no one to argue with but yourself, so everyone there will agree with you, everyone else will go away. It will become a one-sided trick pony and will fade off into the sunset. I’m sorry but I predict billions will be lost and I hate that.

see this is why Twitter should be ran differently. Those people just want to monetize it.

I do really think that when it comes down to it Musk did this similar to why he’s done other things… he wants a future he can look forward to. If so much media is moving aggressively and foolishly to the extremes and deleting those who disagree, then its not going to be a good future. A lot of crazy will prevail, and a lot of evil. It just becomes a propaganda machine instead of a public square where people debate idea instead of silencing decenters and letting foolish ideas prevail uncontested. We can all agree that Fox is pretty terrible… but man they are looking basic compared to the control of narrative of so many left media outlets.
