I could just cut together video of me riding e-bikes if you’d like. Would be much easier.

This was the most anti climatic vid ever. Of course you will make it back home. You can still pedal.

Those handle bars are soooooo low. Leaning over killing your back. Id raise them super high and install a back rest on a bigger soft seat.

    • Logan Moy

      June 27, 2020 at 2:10 pm

Agreed. While a fun bike with many great features, it’s not a very comfortable one ergonomically. I was somewhat relieved to send it back after this video.

    • I Gonna Be Neenja

      June 27, 2020 at 3:05 pm

@Logan Moy lul, oh so your a smart one…. But you don’t have time to alter every ride for the sake of a test ride, makes sense. Im saving up for a back rest for my bike.

Your position on the bike is terrible, seat is way to low, get help to adjust it.

    • Logan Moy

      June 27, 2020 at 6:56 pm

I know. Tbh it’s not a very comfortable bike ergonomically. Seat post doesn’t go much higher and doing so is more painful on your wrists. I believe it’s meant to be used with the throttle more.

    June 27, 2020 at 6:18 pm

i would rather buy tesla stocks wait for the next battery event. after getting ‘stonked’ i will sell it and buy tesla instead of spending 5k on this thing

    • reversetriangle

      June 28, 2020 at 1:32 pm

No one is trying to sell to this ebike…

  19. Adam Kendall

    June 27, 2020 at 7:12 pm

“The friction creates energy that charges the battery.” Um… no, that’s just plain wrong. The energy is created by the electric motor being used in reverse as a generator, and the resistance of the generator brings you to a stop.

    • Logan Moy

      June 27, 2020 at 7:28 pm

Plain wrong? I disagree. An oversimplification? Definitely, and I learned a valuable lesson about trying to concentrate on too many things at once while making this video. Regardless, it actually has very little benefits to an ebike battery as the weight is a lot lower than in something like a car. Thanks for watching!

    • Adam Kendall

      June 27, 2020 at 11:03 pm

@Logan Moy Ok yeah, my comment was a little harsh. Sorry. I really am enjoying your series on ebikes. Thank you for making them.

  20. Celestial

    June 27, 2020 at 7:14 pm

The irony is you should never chance running your battery down completely. ????

  21. neu3

    June 27, 2020 at 8:51 pm

How on earth are you guys able to make EVERY video about EVERY subject so cringy?

  22. Jeff

    June 27, 2020 at 9:40 pm

does the bike pedal like a normal bike if the battery dies? or is there a resistance from the motor?

    • Logan Moy

      June 29, 2020 at 11:44 pm

You can pedal like a normal bike, but e-bikes are usually heavier because of the battery and extra components so it’s a little more difficult.

  23. Grahamaan27

    June 27, 2020 at 9:47 pm

this is a dumb video. “hopefully I don’t get stranded with a dead e bike!” wat.

  24. James Perrine

    June 27, 2020 at 10:47 pm

Why would anyone buy this. Get a real bike with pedals. It’s called exercise. Cardiovascular etc. or get a motorcycle. He’s terrified at going 30+ mph. What a whimp

    • Peb

      June 29, 2020 at 12:14 am

Exercise is all good, but the ebikes are for transportation. As he showed you, he went 30+ miles. And going 30+ miles an hour on a bicycle is not safe nor feels safe.

    • James Perrine

      July 1, 2020 at 4:55 pm

Peb. Bikes are for transportation and multiple other uses depending on the type of bike one needs. Why would anyone want to go 30 mph on a bike if the rider is able to do that. Racing bikes maybe.

  26. lock Hughes

    June 28, 2020 at 1:55 am

Hehe… Amusing comments about price (to buy bike)… While local to me bike stores selling electrics, with a thing “good credit rating”… have loan payments about the same as a monthly pass for pubic transit (sp?)… and the bikes have waaay better service… going directly from home to A… then B… etc… w/always a seat free (hehe)… Am pretty sure vehicles like buses and streetcars and subways etc are toast… Get around town now for quicker and cheaper than the trouble and expense of the automobile… [wink]

    • Razib Baral JOY

      June 29, 2020 at 8:28 am

For riding point A to point B e-bike around 1000-1500$ can easily do the job. You don’t need it.

I wish! It wasn’t the most comfortable ride for the money.

I would buy used leaf for that price.

  33. Razib Baral JOY

    • Logan Moy

I didn’t buy it. It was loaned to me for this video. Personally, its too pricey for me.

Logan, what type of helmet are you wearing ?

    • Logan Moy

      June 29, 2020 at 7:56 pm

It’s a Thousand Heritage Bike Helmet. Was actually considering making a video about helmets. Have any questions about buying them that I can try to answer in it?

  35. Aadavan Elangovan

That bicycle looks so nice…but at the same time, you could just use normal bike with super low gearing and get fit.

    • Logan Moy

I prefer to go faster for the same effort.
