Clicks must be explicitly telling people they cannot use the OS as it’s not finalized yet 🙄

If you’re going to review the phone, don’t speak to all the obvious stuff we already know, actually use the d*mn thing and show us:
– How the OS works
– Show us the Android 16 confirmation in the system settings
– Take some photos and videos with it
– Actually show us some footage of you banging out messages on the keyboard
– Etc…

Honestly I’m going to start calling this thing vaporware until I get my question answered as to whether the main camera will record in 4k…

Love the phone and the concept and also big fan of Michael fishers journalism but constantly showcasing a dummy phone from their keynote to Ces big red flags it’s not giving me any incentive to pre order !!!!

My only wish was e-ink display for super long battery. Preordering the green but only at $199. No way this comes out this year since even my Razr keyboard was delayed 2 months.

I wonder why they were in a haste to announce this phone. We’ve seen it before. They have sorted the design and pricing but not the main things..software and usability.

Yeaaaah, I’m not going to pre-order until I get to see a live demo of the clicks communicator. Every video that’s recommended so far is just some demo phone with a fake screen. I’m not going off of blind trust for a $500 phone. Yeah it’s more affordable than other phones but $500 is still a lot.

Promoting it as a companion Phone is a stupid marketing idea. Many people think that the phone cannot be used as standalone when it can (although you clarify this). Many people carry phones one for work one for personal, this is normal. Some carry smart watches as companion devices. but the concept of a phone sized companion device is kind of dumb. It’s a standalone Phone market it as that.

This thing with that screen size and the battery size means at least 2 days of heavy use, this is not a secondary phone, this is a main phone, a secondary could be the one you use for photos and media, this thing is made for heavy messaging / interaction 👀

Why do people need a physical keyboard though? Is it for disabled people? Serious question. I was an adult during BlackBerry’s time and the keyboard was superceded by touchscreen for good reason.
