It is similar to Palm Treo Pro and even more modern to Palm Pre…

Clicks must be explicitly telling people they cannot use the OS as it’s not finalized yet 🙄

If you’re going to review the phone, don’t speak to all the obvious stuff we already know, actually use the d*mn thing and show us:
    – How the OS works
    – Show us the Android 16 confirmation in the system settings
    – Take some photos and videos with it
    – Actually show us some footage of you banging out messages on the keyboard
    – Etc…

Honestly I’m going to start calling this thing vaporware until I get my question answered as to whether the main camera will record in 4k…

Love the phone and the concept and also big fan of Michael fishers journalism but constantly showcasing a dummy phone from their keynote to Ces big red flags it’s not giving me any incentive to pre order !!!!

  4. @YoRAHeem

    January 6, 2026 at 6:44 pm

Dummy device – let’s breakdown that cost please. Bc right now the bar is $499 no OS. Is that good?

    • @KBoon

      January 6, 2026 at 7:27 pm

What do you mean no OS? it will run Android 16 at launch

    • @YoRAHeem

      January 6, 2026 at 8:06 pm

@KBoon it’s not ready on the device, so currently not included.

Review the clicks power key with iPhone 13mini

    • @KBoon

      January 6, 2026 at 7:27 pm

Not sure anyone is gonna do that with a 4 and a half year old phone but it should be a decent combo

  6. @Hunter-pn9dl

    January 6, 2026 at 6:54 pm

No working units, no preorder. I smell a scam a brewing. Their going to delay this phone at least once.

    • @KBoon

      January 6, 2026 at 7:26 pm

Their prior products have been delivered to people

  7. @dougarki

This videos feels like when you give your little bro the unconnected controller 😂

  8. @teddysdadcory

    January 6, 2026 at 7:09 pm

This isn’t a companion phone. It’s a phone for people who remember when phones were fun.

  9. @thebigrigcm

    January 6, 2026 at 7:11 pm

Those wont sell well as nobody wants it.

    • @KBoon

      January 6, 2026 at 7:26 pm

They’ll sell to enough people but not millions

  10. @headventure

    January 6, 2026 at 7:14 pm

hands on with a mockup ???

  11. @keronjohn6738

    January 6, 2026 at 7:27 pm

“companion phone”? yeah this is dead on arrival

  12. @ubunetz

    January 6, 2026 at 7:31 pm

They are not disclosing the chipset used so Im going to pass. Only suckers buy tech that has no specifications

  13. @DubsBrown

    January 6, 2026 at 7:32 pm

My only wish was e-ink display for super long battery. Preordering the green but only at $199. No way this comes out this year since even my Razr keyboard was delayed 2 months.

  14. @movetonanaimo

    January 6, 2026 at 7:33 pm

I just want a physical keyboard again. I can type faster with far fewer mistakes.

  15. @ogbatuesomtochukwu568

    January 6, 2026 at 7:35 pm

I wonder why they were in a haste to announce this phone. We’ve seen it before. They have sorted the design and pricing but not the main things..software and usability.

  16. @AlMansurpictures

    January 6, 2026 at 7:36 pm

So, they’re launching the dummy phone on CES? No real action just a mockup? 😅

  17. @Ricky-ez2nh

    January 6, 2026 at 7:36 pm

Yeaaaah, I’m not going to pre-order until I get to see a live demo of the clicks communicator. Every video that’s recommended so far is just some demo phone with a fake screen. I’m not going off of blind trust for a $500 phone. Yeah it’s more affordable than other phones but $500 is still a lot.

  18. @RideoutB

    January 6, 2026 at 7:37 pm

Gonna be a bday gift for myself as a student 1000%,
emails documents papers etc all locked in no distractions (I use my phone for work more than my laptop some days)

  19. @squidwerd1981

    January 6, 2026 at 7:40 pm

Promoting it as a companion Phone is a stupid marketing idea. Many people think that the phone cannot be used as standalone when it can (although you clarify this). Many people carry phones one for work one for personal, this is normal. Some carry smart watches as companion devices. but the concept of a phone sized companion device is kind of dumb. It’s a standalone Phone market it as that.

  20. @samushunter0048

    January 6, 2026 at 7:43 pm

Please make this a regular phone. Cant stand the candy bar same same phones we have now.

  21. @TheChico868

    January 6, 2026 at 7:43 pm

So it’s a dummy phone. I want to see how the OS operates

  22. @GustavoEBarriga

    January 6, 2026 at 8:00 pm

This thing with that screen size and the battery size means at least 2 days of heavy use, this is not a secondary phone, this is a main phone, a secondary could be the one you use for photos and media, this thing is made for heavy messaging / interaction 👀

  23. @monohydrate2

    January 6, 2026 at 8:00 pm

This is great for texting 10 different girlfriends

  24. @gogreengameon2146

    January 6, 2026 at 8:03 pm

Why do people need a physical keyboard though? Is it for disabled people? Serious question. I was an adult during BlackBerry’s time and the keyboard was superceded by touchscreen for good reason.

  25. @legocat0306

    January 6, 2026 at 8:14 pm

Already pre-ordered to replace my iPhone 13 mini
