May.14 — A single tweet from Elon Musk, announcing that Tesla Inc. would stop accepting Bitcoin as a form of payment, wiped hundreds of millions of dollars out of cryptocurrency markets. Some of that has been recovered, namely in Dogecoin, following yet another endorsement from Musk and Coinbase Global Inc. officially bringing Dogecoin onto its platform. But Bitcoin is still down and Square Inc. halted Bitcoin purchases altogether. Bloomberg’s Ed Ludlow and Joe Weisenthal report.

What I don’t understand is he’s talking cleaner energy, but what does his electricity run on fairy dust? BTC network uses less energy than fiat, and less than 30% is coal powered?

Is he making a run at “solar sales into the BTC market” or something odd???

Elon and Trump single handedly screwed the mainstream media, they could just ban Trump from everywhere but can’t do the same with Elon, because they’ll be dealing with majority of people, whether they’re standing with right, left, middle, center what ever you want to call it, not so easy huh? The mainstream media wishes they could’ve treated Elon the same way they treated Trump. Jeff Bezos is looking for a way, but good luck.

Is this actually a serious thing? Because Bitcoin fluctuated between a nickel and 400 dollars for 8 years before going to 19,000. Like you have to be kidding here. I’m assuming you’re talking to the crowd of people who don’t remember that this thing existed from 2009 on? Blaming a 2021 Tweeter for causing “market fluctuations” on Bitcoin is.. I can’t even express how stupid that is. lmao And saying it shouldn’t be allowed is basically saying that there is no free market, Bitcoin isn’t allowed to have competitors, and everyone has to shut up and say it’s amazing. Bitcoin was the first. But it will very likely not end up being the best. Things change over time. If you can’t handle competition, I guess just sell your Bitcoin. At its heart, cryptocurrency is a product in development right now. It’s like a zipper invented 12 years before pants. What the product is… no one knows yet, but it’s there, and it may be useful someday when they invent a real world scenario to plug it into. Saying that expressing an opinion about Bitcoin is manipulating markets is kind of like saying that someone Tweeting that they hate Coke and love Pepsi is trying to crash Pepsi. Nope, they really do just hate Coke and see more promise in Pepsi. Is capitalism illegal in the U.S.? I wasn’t aware of this development. Competition bad? Wow.

Elon should not be blamed for crypto issues, people should not be foolishly following his moves, comments and the comments of all TV people and speculators with YouTube channels. Before he invested in, Bitcoin was doing just fine.
All people do is give him more power, and make crypto more unstable and volatile, he`s probably laughing his A$$ off.
His rockets, (I`m not a rocket fuel scientist or a EPA specialist), probably burn more holes up there than mining crypto.
If I was you all, I would ignore all this fuzz and still try to capitalize on all this opportunities, just like he is doing, keep buying Dogecoin, Doge token, Dogelon Mars Elon Token and all that stuff, and forget about all this hype.
