Sep.30 — Aurora Innovation Inc. is showing off its self-driving technology in semi trucks to investors and industry analysts for the first-time. As the company moves to scale its commercial operations, Bloomberg’s Ed Ludlow jumped in the big rig cabin for a fully autonomous driving experience.

    Anyone seen the LOGAN movie the horse scene on the highway… The self driving trucks going to evolve into that with no steering wheel. ????????

    Lidar is like the Windows Mobile on mobile phones.

    It’s gonna flop because it is dependent on continuous input from other Lidar equipped vehicles to update it’s map.

    Vision only works like a human so it can drive where no other cars have driven before.
