Why are we still surprised that new iPhone’s will have new features with new models? This is not news, Bloomberg.

My concern is someone will get erroneously flagged for taking one too many baby photos of them potty training or bathing then have the FBI smashing down their door. In fact, I remember when I was a kid someone’s mom got hassled by the cops & school administrators because a kid took similar photos to school for show & tell.

Gotta love this media spin:
Whenever talking about Apple:
“Apple is not looking at your photos…”
But whenever talking about Google:
“Google will be scanning each user’s photos”
Stop playing favorites and understand that EVERY tech companies need to analyze data and problems in data in order to make its algorithms and companies better, so that the users don’t flock to other companies instead.

Converting a photo to a string of digits on the device and comparing the string with ones on a database-
IS NOT the same as scanning a users photos wholesale and uploading a copy of the photos to third parties.

@Ardent Ram if you think that’s what Google does than you’re all sorts of confused.
