I dislike the white bezel and having a same chip as MacBooks makes this underpowered, performance wise.

      April 21, 2021 at 12:57 am

Underpowered..? Their m1 chip is phenomenal that it is overpowered and guess what iPad Pro is having the same processor

ITS SO UGLY!!! How could apple (a company known for making amazing looking products) make such a cheap, awful looking device. From the back its not bad but the front with that white bezel/ chin/ and awful colours (no space grey even) its just a mess!!

Looks like the iMac is just a stretched out version of the iPad Air.

IMO they remind me a lot of the G3 iMac which I really like

When is Fast User Switching coming to the iPad? I’m sure it will bc the new keyboard will likely be Bluetooth and hopefully multi device enabled.

Can you use the keyboard for the new IPad Pro since it runs on M1? Would this add Touch ID to iPads?

  16. Kevin Barry

    April 21, 2021 at 12:41 am

A magnetic power cord on a desktop, but it’s not on the laptops. It doesn’t make a lot of sense

    April 21, 2021 at 12:45 am

White Bezel ????????????????, that’s the reason why I used to buy Space Gray iPad.

    I hate White bezel ????

iMac 2021 with base 256GB and 8GB RAM????? that’s stone age
and no normal USB Port etc
don’t want a new iMac without base 1TB storage and 16GB RAM
    and only with USB-C
and from the front it looks like the old iMac only with white bezels
    thats totally disappointing
This is only a new cash cow to Apple

  29. RovexHD

    April 21, 2021 at 12:53 pm

The backs look fine despite the splash of colours making it look like a kid’s toy but the front….. That chin had to go

      April 21, 2021 at 10:23 pm

The back doesnt look fine, it looks amazing.

Seems like Apple is really running out of ideas to keep itself relevant in the evolving tech industry. If the best they can come up with is adding colors and some extra keys to keyboard

    • Hynea

      April 21, 2021 at 10:12 pm

Yeah no, the m1 chips is going to shake up the entire pc industry. They also added mini led tech to the iPad which is a major deal as well.

That iMac is one ugly all in one computer viewing it from the front. They focused so much on the thinness and back of this thing the front looks like an iMac mock-up from a third party company. Jesus the white bezel and chin with no apple logo looks like a child was trying custom make an iMac.. I’m no engineer but why not make the thing thick enough to have the internal hardware in back of the screen and make it edge to edge ?

    • Hynea

Incremental upgrades just like essential every industry in existence.

  38. AME TV

    April 21, 2021 at 6:14 pm

I think it’s not a bad thing that the MacBook Air , Mac mini , MacBook Pro and iMac are essentially the same computer with different faces it makes the buyers decisions easier now the iMac Pro if that returns and the Mac Pro I expect those to have the same family of chips but a different class of performance

  39. Andrew Jones

    April 21, 2021 at 7:27 pm

Hold up, are these even any better than the 2020 imacs? (besides the Mchip and the color selections/thinner screens)
The 2020 Imac for a few hundred dollars more looks like the better buy when comparing them side by side.

128 GB of memory (2020) vs 16 GB memory (2021)
    8TB of storage (2020) vs 2TB of storage (2021)
    5K display (2020) vs 4.5k (display)
    27 inch (2020) vs 24 inch (2021)

People ask for something different, so they give them something different. People complain. If they give them more of the same, people complain. Come on! Stop complaining and see it for what it is. This is not a computer for the pros. It’s a fresh take on something that normally looks plain and boring. It’s fun. If you don’t like it, then don’t buy it. Nobody’s forcing you… Great video, by the way.
