Apple Poised to Slash IPhone Production Goal
Oct.12 — Apple is likely to slash its projected iPhone 13 production targets for 2021 by as many as 10 million units as prolonged chip shortages hit its flagship product, according to people with knowledge of the matter. Apple is a very capable company. However, handling double the volume in a future quarter and dealing with the uncertainty of the customer base because of delays, should not be taken lightly as the analyst suggests. We were not expecting to be where we are right now 2 years after COVID!
