the technology does not exist. it can not be done yet and not for many many years. no matter what ‘hype’ is made by many companies.

Look at the past 10 years for Apple if you want to know where they are headed next 10 years. Basicly no innovation.

When a company grows big, that will be the case. Those who are incompetent but good at office politics and backstabbing their colleague to climb the corporate ladder will assume decision making role and decide to make all the decision which they are incompetent at. I have my manager who told me to come up with a technical design and proposal saying he knows nothing about the technical aspect (at least he is honest here), and when the design is presented to him, he cut down a lot of ideas based on false assumption because he really don’t know what is the fundamental behind the design. So you always has to work within his box which is very small and cookie-cutter style. If you want to be innovative and venture outside his box, you will be cut down fast and hard.
