    for me, after the pandemic the whole “shortage of computers” sent me out to get a new computer, now i wont need one for 4-5 years.

The average working class person can’t afford food anymore, before the pandemic they could barely afford rent, and now you expect people to be able to consume shit when they’re barely eeking by?     I am not surprised with Apple seeing a 40% in sales of their MacBook. Due to the global pandemic which forced an upgrade cycle along with Apple’s switch to their own Apple designed chips, there has not been a need to upgrade on the Mac side once a person has switched to either an M1 or M2 chip.On the PC side Intel and AMD’s recent CPUs are fantastic.
