What do you mean “why”? The average working class person can’t afford food anymore, before the pandemic they could barely afford rent, and now you expect people to be able to consume shit when they’re barely eeking by? Capitalists are truly the most blinder-equipped, narrow minded, short-sighted dingles you can find. wow

I am not surprised with Apple seeing a 40% in sales of their MacBook. Due to the global pandemic which forced an upgrade cycle along with Apple’s switch to their own Apple designed chips, there has not been a need to upgrade on the Mac side once a person has switched to either an M1 or M2 chip.On the PC side Intel and AMD’s recent CPUs are fantastic.

Until Apple moves the majority of product “manufacture” aka assembled outside China, people should boycott its products.

Design consultant Virginia Santy set out to create an office space built specifically for women, flipping the script on the subtle (and not-so-subtle) ways that workplaces and cities still fail them. The results were striking: greater productivity, deeper collaboration and an environment where women felt genuinely valued, leading her to ask a simple question: What would the world look like if we designed with women in mind?
