I’m still not entirely clear on the value that ‘Apple Intelligence’ brings. Why would I need this when I’m already paying €22 a month for ChatGPT? Enhancing features within the OS is certainly welcome, but is AI truly necessary for this? It seems more likely that Apple is introducing these functionalities to create a potential new revenue stream through subscription fees for ‘AI features.’ This trend underscores how our devices and software are increasingly less ‘owned’ by us; instead, we’re expected to pay monthly fees to unlock a device’s full capabilities.

The biggest feature and selling point of the iPhone 16 isn’t even out yet and won’t be completely until next year. Looks like iPhone 16 users are beta testers and the real Apple Intelligence will be in iPhone 17 and beyond.

First of all: Great Video!
Second: As a German, I don’t mind the AI text summaries too much. We are used to direct conversation and clear info. I am not a fan of the American, babbel around the point. So I would appreciate having a short info with the actual important points. This could come in very handy in endless voice messages too.
